2013 Australian Master slave Contest (AMsC) Judges Yesterday we announced that we have our 5 contestant pairs and I’m sure you will agree with me we have five amazing couples. The 2013 Australian Master slave Contest (AMsC) will be using the Olympic scoring system for this year’s five Judges. And Last but not least Master Laurie Lane - The Man responsible for the creation of the Australian Leather Flag in 1990 (after Tony DeBlaze gave the original Leather flag to the world in 1989) Those that know Laurie Lane would probably consider him to be the quintessential LeatherMan of Melbourne. Laurie Lane has been an instrumental Leatherman in Australia for many years. Laurie has been involved in the Australian heats of the International Mr Leather competition from its inception, coaching, mentoring and generally being there for the contestants is hard work indeed. Laurie has extensive experience within the leather lifestyle and by many is considered the true Mr Leather of Australia. For the AMsC to secure the services of such esteemed judges we are eternally grateful. I’m sure that when the Title Holders for AMsC 2013 are announced we will all have gained a greater knowledge and experience. For now? Let the games begin.

Australia has a wealth of Leather history forming within the BDSM culture. We believe strongly that the AMsC will give more than just a chance to show that growth in culture. It aids in recognising the strong bonds that exist between Master and slave and presents their individual contribution to shine for the benefit of their community as a whole. We believe these relationships, in their many forms, should be celebrated, its why we’re excited to support such a contest CrouchingTiger and Nineh Bio - We are an M/s couple living our dynamic 24/7. We share a home, mortgage, manage family, children and full-time work, within the construct of our M/s dynamic. I first came out to the public scene in 2002. I dabbled for a couple of years then I drifted away as it wasn’t providing what I was needing. During that time away I was always aware that I was a dominant who wanted a power exchange relationship. Nineh found the BDSM scene in 2008 and spent the next couple of years enjoying her exploration of play, forging new friendships and enjoying life. She began to get an idea of the type of relationship that might be possible and was determined to find one that incorporated D/s, love,
family and devotion. She didn’t want to have to compartmentalise these essential aspects of her life. In 2010 we met and each got more than we bargained for. In the time we have been together our relationship has evolved, both of us have grown in our own personal development and we have faced several challenges along the way. We have learnt a lot and developed various skills from this experience to date. We attended MAsT Melbourne since its formation in 2011. Through the meetings we met others with similar dynamics. Overseas guest presenters were of great assistance in learning about M/s dynamics which we began to identify with. We value involvement in our local community to learn and give back. We regularly attend The Power Exchange and coordinate the associated Couples group established for couples living their dynamics 24/7. Nineh organises the monthly Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Group munch and gets great joy from seeing people enjoying themselves and making new friendships. We are taking part in this competition as an opportunity to contribute to the development of our community. We want the competition to be successful by having a rich and diverse range of couples competing on order to get the best title holders. Recent events have seen the local M/s community grow and mature. We hope that the titleholders will contribute to its further growth and that the M/s lifestyle will become more accessible to the broader BDSM community. Mast Peterau and Jilly00 Bio - I would like to introduce my slave jilly and myself Master Peter, We were introduced 4 years ago at Hellfire in Sydney by a mutual friend. We agreed to take it slowly, firstly speaking over the phone and via the internet with a few visits as friends as neither of us were sure We wanted to do a long distance relationship. But 6 months later I offered jilly a Collar of Consideration which she accepted. We spent a lot of our time talking on the phone which has meant we know a lot more about each other….our hopes, plans and dreams than maybe other couples do at the start. Another 6 months later I offered jilly a Collar which she accepted, we had a beautiful Ceremony at the Kinky Farm in Canberra. At the time of the Collaring, I presented jilly with a Gold - Story of O Ring, which she wears 24/7. Our D/s relationship was still a long distance one. I made a decision that jilly should now move to Sydney asap but getting a job in Sydney didn’t happen until February 2013. Since that time we truly live a 24/7 D/s lifestyle but within a vanilla household. We have our ways to keep the dynamic going even when we are surrounded by family. Bliss for the two of us is to come home at the end of each day and be together. For me it is also being able to serve my Master each and every day in the manner he requires. Quite simply we believe we have a great balanced D/s relationship. Many in the lifestyle don’t believe that it’s possible to have a fulfilling D/s relationship as a D/s couple. We would like people to know that it is possible. We also maintain full time jobs while we both have family to stay in touch with. We Love the blend of our lives both lifestyle and vanilla and find it very fulfilling while we continue to learn and grow both as individuals and as a couple. R31 and MoNaKo Bio - A young aspiring Leather couple consisting of a female Dominant and male boy, Rei and Morgan’s interests include sharps play, bootblacking , cock and ball torture, puppy play and many other things. They enjoy learning and discovering new things that enhance their dynamic and relationship, and sharing what they’ve learned with others. They have been in the kink scene for around two to three years both
socially and professionally. When they met Rei worked as a host at a local fetish night for young people where Morgan also worked in security at the venue. Over the last six months they have been a part of the Leather scene in Melbourne and have been learning about Leather through attending workshops, and learning from their peers and their mentors. They have been in a 24/7 power exchange dynamic for 16 months over the course of which they have learnt a lot about themselves and each other, and look forward to many more years of happy learning. One of the biggest reasons we wanted to enter was that the female bodied Dominant/male bodied submissive is a dynamic not often seen, whereas male Dom/female sub or same sex power exchange relationships seem to be far more common. Contesting (the AMsC) is also a personal challenge for us - although we are young and comparatively inexperienced in the grand scheme of things we are still keen to give it a shot. Trans Bear and Alex De Boot Bio - Both Hunter and Alex have a major passion for Education about & within the Leather, BDSM & Kink communities, presenting collaboratively at one of the “Leather Dinners” about their love of boots, and boot care, and separately – Hunter with his classes on Humanimals, Rough Body Work, Switching, Boot-Blacking, Leather Protocols/Flagging, and Gender and Boi Alex with his love of boots, boot care and self defence workshops. Master Hunter and Boy Alex are part of a fantastic Pack of Queer Leather Folk who are there for them to talk to, interact with and learn from, a brains trust, and closest friends. The Pack members spread over the world have shown them the real-life meanings of the Values within the Power Exchange community that they would both like to uphold and to share with the larger umbrella of BDSM/Kink communities. We are proud to compete in the inaugural Australian Master slave Contest as an example of the 24/7 Power Exchange Dynamic in the BDSM/Fetish/Kink community. We wish to connect with the wider community by demonstrating commitment, loyalty, trust and the diversity of two Transmasculine male identities being welcome within the PE Community. KL Joy was born in the early 1970’s in Victoria, Australia; with a normal, suburban, family upbringing but always leaned towards the fire. If it was just a little bit off centre, then that’s where you would find her. Not being an applied student at school, she preferred to push boundaries within the ranks. It was a great surprise when she got into university as a mature age student. KL Joy was enamoured by the life of academia, and decided to do it at her own pace so as to soak up the atmosphere as much as she could. After 6 years. she completed a B.A. (Soc. Sci.) in Sociology at La Trobe University. During this time, she learned a lot about watching people and writing. With a curious, gypsy-like nature, KL Joy took off around Australia. It was during this time that she did some life modelling for artists and met a fetish photographer. He changed her life and introduced her to people in the fetish-wear and BDSM subcultures, and so the love affair began! She became enthralled with the sub-culture, but remained on the fringe to allow herself to remain unaffected. Huge costumes, hanging from cranes, fire, power tools, and dangerous & twisted movement were all in a days work. On relocating to Melbourne in 2001, Sparkarella quickly emersed herself in the performance scene and founded acro-contemporary troupe Hektix. KL Joy was born in the early 1970’s in Victoria, Australia; with a normal, suburban, family upbringing but always leaned towards the fire. If it was just a little bit off centre, then that’s where you would find her.
Not being an applied student at school, she preferred to push boundaries within the ranks. It was a great surprise when she got into university as a mature age student. KL Joy was enamoured by the life of academia, and decided to do it at her own pace so as to soak up the atmosphere as much as she could. After 6 years. she completed a B.A. (Soc. Sci.) in Sociology at La Trobe University. During this time, she learned a lot about watching people and writing. With a curious, gypsy-like nature, KL Joy took off around Australia. It was during this time that she did some life modelling for artists and met a fetish photographer. He changed her life and introduced her to people in the fetish-wear and BDSM subcultures, and so the love affair began! She became enthralled with the sub-culture, but remained on the fringe to allow herself to remain unaffected.
