Property from the KENNEDY WINTER WHITE HOUSE The Palm Beach saleroom of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers handled property from the Kennedy Winter White House in a single-owner sale. The historic collection was consigned by Mr. and Mrs. John Castle, who purchased the home and much of its contents from the Kennedy family in 1995. The sale totaled nearly $500,000 for 153 lots of furniture, decorative items and property closely related to President Kennedy and his family. The sale drew hundreds of local and national participants to Leslie Hindman Auctioneers’ Palm Beach saleroom. Global attention leading up to the sale prompted many first time bidders to participate via phone and online bidding platforms.

Property from the DENVER ART MUSEUM Leslie Hindman Auctioneers offered property sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Denver Art Museum in various sales throughout the 2017 auction season. The first was a session in our Arts of the American West auction, which included American Indian highlights from the Denver Art Museum such as a Lakota pictorial beaded vest from the late 19th – early 20th century and Western Art highlights such as works by Charles Berninghaus. Property from the museum was also sold in a single-owner African and Oceanic Art auction and a Fine Furniture and Decorative Arts auction. Our firm was privileged to work with the Denver Art Museum across many sales and collecting categories in advancement of their acquisition fund.
