Purchased throughout her life and from around the world, these items served as continuous inspiration for Mrs. Gutfreund. On some occasions, Mrs. Gutfreund would incorporate these items into her style, such as the 1860s at-home jacket (bottom right) that Mrs. Gutfreund wore for an event she hosted in her home.
