Warmest regards,
With a potpourri of Arabic, Islamic, African and European influences, Marrakech is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. There are many mosques, museums, souks and famous squares, such as Djemaa el-Fnaa, one of Africa's most famous squares. The best time to go to Marrakech is between October and May as accommodation prices drop and the food is fantastic for all budgets Surrounded by lemon, orange, and olive groves, the city's culinary specialities are rich and heavily spiced but not hot. A must is the unforgettable Moroccan tea, served with mint and sugar from the teapot's curved spout in small glasses
Think of Rio and images of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue on top of Corcovado Mountain come to mind, along with the white sands of famous Copacabana Beach. Copacabana is four kilometres of glorious, crescent-shaped beach bustling with scantily clad sun worshippers, surfers, sand sculptors and hawkers. The best view of Rio comes from Sugar Loaf Mountain, accessed via cable car. Visit it during the day and return at night as the view is dazzling Visit the Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow) and walk through its nearby streets full of graffiti and climb the Selaron Steps adorned with thousands of tiles. In Rio, drinking caipirinhas and dining on churrascaria are part of the experience
The capital of Argentina shines with a mixture of European culture and Latin American passion. Visit the Plaza de Mayo named after the revolution that led to Argentina's independence to see the National Congress, the Catedral Metropolitana, and the Casa Rosada to learn about the history of Argentina. Watch the dancers in the rainbow-hued buildings of La Boca Arts Center, slip on your shoes for a tango lesson at the Milonga Dance Club, or catch the pros in action at the legendary Rojo Tango Show and take a bike tour of the Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve But if you want to get into the culture you have to try the Argentinian barbecue, enjoy one of the most popular drinks, Fernet, for dessert some Alfajores and above all a cumbia must be playing in the background.
One of the best experiences you can enjoy in Peru is its gastronomy. Peru has won ten consecutive times the World Travel Awards as a culinary. It has a cultural mix of Peruvian, Hispanic, African, Italian, Japanese and Chinese influences, making Peruvian cuisine one of the most attractive in the world.
If your idea of travelling is to lose yourself and find a new you, perhaps the best place for you is the solitude and tranquillity that can only be found in the Andes mountains. The ancient capital of the Inca empire is, without a doubt, the true heart of the Andes Cusco is often referred to as the Rome of the Americas, thanks to the number of ancient ruins and monuments to be found in the surrounding area. It is a place to visit when you are young, to test your muscles and introspection as you climb the mountains.
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a large city known for its ornate shrines and vibrant street life. This exotic city is one of the cheapest places in the world to travel.
Thailand's capital will captivate you with its lively nightlife and delicious street food. While the party side of the capital is the most famous, indulging in its cultural treasures, such as the Royal Palace in Bangkok, is a true marvel You can take advantage of some of its temples, such as Wat Arun or Wat Phra Kaew
There are plenty of things to do in Bangkok. And there is something for everyone: you can choose between luxurious shopping centres or traditional markets, visit the impressive temples, experience the adventure of a tuk-tuk ride or stay in very cheap luxury hotels.
hen done right, travel is beautiful, the most excellent mind-expanding experience and the ultimate cultural bridge. However, it should serve local communities and ecosystems, not exploit them The burden to protect them falls on every traveller, and the time is now.
Eco travel focuses on minimising the impact of tourism. Fortunately, the green travel star is on the rise. Sensitivity to environmental issues, perhaps one of the most identifiable traits of this generation, is also very present when it comes to travelling.
As the public becomes more informed about the impact of travel on the planet, more people are committed to minimising their footprints. Whether staying at a resort that grows your food, travelling by land rather than air, or choosing parks where fees go directly to conservation, there are countless options for seeking greener vacations, ensuring that future generations can experience the wonders of travel for years to come.
71.8% of young people are concerned about the environmental impact of tourism, and more than half (64.1%) admit that they would rule out a destination because of its environmental degradation
There are different ecological ways of travelling around. Cycling, hiking and walking are the greenest, but trains are generally considered environmentally friendly if you need to travel long distances. Buses carrying upward of 40 passengers are the next-best alternative. The most sustainable systems run on electric or alternative power and boast high passenger rates. Switzerland's hydroelectricpowered trains, hybrid buses, and Japan's lightweight, high-capacity Shinkansen (bullet train) are among the most notable examples. Cruising the open waters can be a green dream or an environmental disaster for seafarers Though sailboats and catamarans are gentle on the planet, cruise ships empty approximately one billion gallons of sewage into the oceans yearly while leaking petrol into fragile ecosystems worldwide. To help combat the damage, the Norwegian cruise line Hurtigruten is exploring greener pastures by constructing three hybrid ships
Finding an environmentally conscious hotel has always been challenging You should choose an accommodation that matches those priorities. While eco-lodges and homestays are often the most sustainable options, many hotel chains and independent properties offer green programmes, such as in-room recycling, composting, or only sourcing local produce
The stay is just as important as choosing the proper transport and accommodation.
When it comes to sightseeing, there are always plenty of gentle options on Mother Nature, like snorkelling, scuba diving, hiking, swimming, kayaking, biking and bird-watching. In addition, visiting craft fairs or markets and purchasing locally produced, artisanal goods supports indigenous communities and farmersremember to take a reusable bag so you don't need to buy one while you're out and about When hunger calls, dine at eco-conscious, fair-labour eateries serving locally sourced ingredients.
By choosing to fly green, you can drastically reduce the harmful effects of air travel on the environment and improve your experiences. If you want to save money on your next trip and make it greener, these tips will help you fly green. Booking direct flights is one of the easiest ways to reduce the environmental impact of air travel. Virgin Atlantic, Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific rank because they offer green options such as reduced pollution and carbon emissions, which minimise their environmental impact. Travellers can reduce the contents of suitcases; this method proposes sustainability for passengers to carry their reusable bags when flying green. Check your airline's green travel options online before heading to the airport.
First, when choosing a destination, not all are ecoequal. Some demonstrate a much deeper commitment to green policies, community-focused programs, and sustainable practices than others Unsurprisingly, the Nordic countries lead the pack. Meanwhile, Costa Rica has positioned itself as one of the most successful ecotourism destinations in the world. More than 25% of its territory, from the beaches of Costa Ballena to tropical forests teeming with wildlife, is protected. Among developing nations, Namibia was the first African country to add environmental protection to its constitution, placing conservation at the centre. Another emerging eco-Mecca is Uzbekistan. The former Soviet stronghold is home to a flourishing outdoor culture, with hiking, horseback riding, mountaineering, whitewater rafting, and birdwatching galore It also offers many alternative accommodations, such as eco-yurts, homestays, and cooperative-run hostels. Locations with extensive public-transport systems, protected parks, walkable neighbourhoods, and a taste for organic and local produce are usually safe bets.
Travelling is one of the leisure and cultural activities most appreciated by young people. And in the way they travel, some of the most distinctive traits of this generation are shown.
A recent survey, travel around the world, found that young people travel primarily to learn, get away from routine and have fun.
The family are the best travelling companions for over half of young people. And there is one thing they are very clear about: they want to travel far, 90% cent recognise that their preference is for international travel.
Collaborative tourism companies are also a growing trend. 62% say they are familiar with this type of alternative. They mainly use them as shared accommodation (47%) and carsharing (23%). And they do so, above all, to save money (51%).
90% Youngpeoplepreferinternational travels.
The vast majority (85%) prefer to design their trips They do so mainly by using specialised websites and considering the recommendations of other travellers that they read on the internet Three out of four travellers stop using a service if it has negative reviews, and almost 90% of those surveyed say they publish content about their trips on social media.
Travelling alone for the first time as a backpacker can provide a great life experience; however, you must plan it in detail before you do it That doesn't mean you must structure your adventure as much as possible; you must leave room for improvisation. If you don't, the trip will force you to do so. Backpacking is one of the many ways and possibilities to get to know another country and enjoy its food and people; among its advantages is the independence you have when making decisions and moving around will be more comfortable. The more you travel, the less you carry!
This is an essential tip for backpacking. Search for information in forums and blogs of travellers Guides like Lonely Planet are handy for consulting places of interest, recommended hostels, and maps of the cities. Then you can decide how long the trip will last, look at your budget and think about how much time you will spend in each place.
List the places you'd like to visit and consider how you'll get around. While planning a trip is good, remember that a place may fascinate you, and you may decide to stay longer. The unknown of the adventure is what's exciting. Walk around and try to get to know the local culture.
You'll need to consider and choose the location of your operations centre to make the excursions to the different tourist spots. It is also essential to make a road map to shorten distances and thus make the most of your time; time is our most precious commodity. When you travel alone we recommend staying in a hostel is a different way to meet people, as in the hostels there are shared rooms, where it is easier to engage in conversation with other travellers with similar concerns to yours, but quiet if you are more reserved with your space and need more privacy also have single rooms and in turn have many common areas where travellers from all over the world are constantly meeting.
Although many travellers book everything from the hotel to the museum tickets before arriving at the destination, it is only partially advisable because if you decide to change your plans, you will lose money due to cancellation fees. I think having your return flight booked or purchased is enough
I recommend you learn the introductory words of the country you want to visit but sign language is universal. I encourage you to try it; you'll be surprised how a few simple words and gestures will help you have a great conversation. However, you can always use Google Translate.
Always remember to wear comfortable clothes on the plane or any other means of transport You can always doublecheck your luggage. If you change countries, always remember to take a copy of your physical or digital passport. On international trips, it is imperative to have all your documentation in order, with all the visas.
Sadly many countries do not have good security conditions Don't be overconfident; ensure the hotel or hostel you're staying in has security systems or lockers with padlocks. Don't walk alone at night, don't drink too much, take in your surroundings and keep an eye out for people you meet along the way.
Travelling alone is an experience that everyone should experience once in their life. It is a way of getting to know and surpassing oneself. It doesn't matter if you get away with your backpack for a few days or go on a more extended trip. All the trips you take will be a great source of emotional well-being. It will depend on how adventurous or less adventurous you are, your personality and your tastes, but neither going too far nor spending much money is necessary for this equation. The important thing is to travel.
