About the Lethbridge Sport Council
Lethbridge Sport Council is a not-for-profit organization incorporated March 28, 2008, under the Societies Act of Alberta and is an independent body supported by the City of Lethbridge, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and managed by three full-time and one part-time staff. We are dedicated to support the enhancement and development of sport in Lethbridge by providing leadership and being a collective voice for sport. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience quality sport.

What is SportFest?
SportFest is an interactive event connecting people to active experiences, promoting sport, active recreation, and physical literacy in Lethbridge. Since the inaugural event in 2015, SportFest has seen thousands of visitors come through the doors to participate in and learn about sport and active recreation in Lethbridge.
At this year's event, individuals and families will have the opportunity to Experience and learn about local sport programs at interactive booths

Who is SportFest for?
SportFest is an inclusive event welcoming attendees from all walks of life. It is a unique event that brings together organizations that are passionate about sport and active recreation, to share that passion with the general public. SportFest is FREE to attend and there are things to see and do for all ages and abilities.

I had so much fun at Sportfest! There were so many cool things to try out. If I had to choose I think my favorite was BMX and roller hockey but it’s hard to decide. The lady at the BMX booth invited me to come try out their track. It was awesome and can’t wait to do it again. I am saving up my money so I can buy my own bike and join their team.
