Palazzo Tassoni is a Reinassence palace in Ferrara, built in the middle XV century and Tassoni’s family house until 1858. Since that day many activities took place in this building and damaged its historical heritage. Palazzo Tassoni was acquired by Ferrara University in the late ‘90s. Part of the building was restores and now is the Design department but the other part is still abandoned and spoilt. Ferrara. Our Restoration tryed to theoretically complete this restoration in order to think about the future integration with the university. The process of restoration of the complex starts with an in-depth historical analysis, continues with the study of the degradation affecting the building and concludes with the proposal of solutions to these criticalities and with a new project of re-vitalization. The proposal for the “Galleria delle Muse“ is the criation of a library for student and the entire population of Ferrara.
