We love patterned tiles in any space. They just make it POP! But since all our attention has been towards making our outdoor space the best place to kick back and relax under the sunshine, we thought we would tell you – patterned tiles look amazing outdoors too!

Yep! Patterned tiles in your garden are a great way to add interest and colour into your space. And what’s better, you don’t necessarily have to rip up your current patio tiles to get this gorgeous look.

Buy new

Your first thought would be that you have to buy new tiles for a gorgeous patterned effect. And you are kinda right. We would highly advise buying new, especially if your patio has seen better days. Swap those cracked slabs for a gorgeous patterned design to bring some Mediterranean feels to your garden. Style with potted plants and flowers for the perfect summer look.

Upcycle your current patio

One of the latest DIY trends and honestly, we know why. A new patio can be expensive, especially when the one you currently have is in good nick. However, you can still achieve a gorgeous patterned tile effect on your current tiles, or even on a concrete slab!

Purchase some tile stencils and masonry paint to completely change the look of your patio, for a fraction of the cost.

Amazon have a great selection of stencils. Just be sure to measure the stencil size in comparison to your current tiles to match perfectly.
