1 Extraction
Natural Stone is extracted from quarries in large square pieces, called blocks.

La Piedra Natural se extrae de las canteras en forma de cubos de grandes dimensiones denominados bloques.

Del bloque se obtienen los tableros a través de un cuidadoso proceso de aserrado. Posteriormente, a las superficies se les aplica un acabado pulido o vintage, y se seleccionan las mejores tablas para NATURAMIA®.
After extraction, the best blocks are classified in the quarry and transported from pits all over the world. Una vez extraídos, se clasifican los mejores bloques en la cantera y se transportan desde todas las cuencas mineras del mundo.
The block is meticulously sawed into slabs. Subsequently, the surface is given a polished or vintage finishing and the best slabs are selected for NATURAMIA®.

Treatment
Bacteriostatic and stainresistant treatments, that protect the stone’s surface, are applied on the selected slabs.

Once the material has been chosen –by the advisor or the final client– the stonemason transforms and installs it.

Installing the material correctly is key for it to retain its beauty and durability over time. For this purpose, Levantina provides Protop, a water-repellent that protects Natural Stone.
