Our unique carrier system houses light sources with minimal visual impact within the ceiling, meaning ttings are virtually invisible. The tting is a modular plug-and-play system that allows you to transform the lighting at will. With thousands of di erent con gurations to choose from and the ability to adapt almost any hanging light to t, the possibilities are in nite, like space itself.

Why Levello?

Invisible by Design – When not illuminated, most downlights have an unsightly bezel; install a number of them and the ceiling takes on the appearance of an airport runway or a bad case of acne. Levello’s patented, magnetic ush mounting system allows the front plate to be completely level with the ceiling, avoiding the runway e ect. Also available in a paintable version, the front plate can be nished with the same paint to match the ceiling or wall so it blends in perfectly.

Infinite Possibilities – Levello uses a housing which is tted permanently into the ceiling, di erent styles of ttings or ‘inserts’ are placed into the housing and held in by magnets, a front plate completes the at nish. As a result, Levello is versatile, allowing the user to change a downlight, to a pendent, to a spot light or even blank out the position completely in seconds. Just decide if the product needs to be re rated or not and the options are endless.

By a Different Light – Levello’s modular system will accept any industry standard 50mm diameter LED lamp, future proo ng installations as lamp technology evolves. The LOW PROFILE products will accept a beam shaping or colour changing lens or lter, PLUS products will accept up to three of these accessories, letting you completely customise the e ect.

Easy Living – Even with modern LED lamps, changing a lamp becomes inevitable, at best this o en involves a face full of dust, at worst a damaged ceiling (not to mention broken ttings). Levello completely eliminates all the inconvenience of changing a lamp whilst maintaining the integrity and nish of the ceiling.

Only Levello – O ers a Fire Rated IP65 directional downlight - as standard; attention to detail such as black or white sleeve colours on directional downlights, mark out the quality of our products. The installation process has been designed to reduce the time and cost of nishing your project to the highest standard.

All in an Elegant Package – Manufactured in the UK and supplied complete in stylish packaging with simple installation instructions printed on the lid. Factory assembled connectors ensure speedy installation and testing, enabling the user to swap their tting with ease and guarantees the safety of the installation. Products can be supplied as ‘ rst x’ and ‘second x’ kits, reducing the risk of lost or damaged products on site, while allowing for last minute changes to be accommodated with ease.

Flush Deep

The completely trimless, xed orientation, DEEP low glare downlight positions the light source 1” above the surface of the ceiling. This eliminates a direct view of the light source to produce a so er aesthetic where light appears in the desired area without a blinding glare from the ceiling.

The DEEP product restricts the light spill; creating higher contrast for a more localised, discreet lighting e ect. A ‘darklight’ tting can easily be created with the addition of a black ba e (LE9012). Ba es in other colours are available to customise the e ect.

The DEEP product accepts any 50 mm LED light source such as GU10’s, MR16’s and light engines. Levello has carefully selected a range of light sources meeting a wide range of requirements (page 20-21).

All products are available in a 60-minute Fire-Rated version which does not change the outward appearance. Paintable Front Plates are available; allowing the Front Plate to be painted to match its surrounding area.

Flush Directional

The completely trimless, tilt and turn DIRECTIONAL downlight is designed for lighting features such as pictures, objects, displays and ideal for wall washing. The DIRECTIONAL products can rotate through 360 ° and can tilt up to 35 °, yet still remain completely ush with the ceiling even at maximum tilt.

A ‘darklight’ e ect can easily be created with the addition of a black ba e (LE9011). Other lighting e ects can be created using ba es, and magnet covers.

The DIRECTIONAL product accepts any LED light source such as GU10’s, MR16’s and light engines. Levello has carefully selected a range of light sources and drivers meeting a wide range of requirements (page 20-21).

All products are available in a 60-minute Fire-Rated version which does not change the outward appearance. Paintable Front Plates are available; allowing the Front Plate to be painted to match its surrounding area.

Directional Luminaires are normally supplied with a round Front Plate. Obround plates are available which restrict side spill and back spill for a very localised e ect.

Flush Low Pro le

The completely trimless, xed orientation, LOW PROFILE downlight ts into the smallest of ceiling voids. In its smallest con guration it can comfortably be installed in to a 55mm ceiling void, the lamp is simply held in-between the magnets.

Magnet covers are available to improve the aesthetics or customise the e ect, as well as a range of colour lters, lenses and louvres. (see pages 22-23).

The LOW PROFILE products accept any 50mm LED light source such as GU10’s, MR16’s and light engines. Levello has carefully selected a range of light sources meeting a wide range of requirements (page 20-21).

The Plus range has been designed with Lighting Designers in mind, giving them the ability to create more precise lighting e ects. The Plus range is available in both DEEP PLUS and DIRECTIONAL PLUS versions and allows a combination of up to 4 di erent lters and lenses.

The products have all the advantages of the DEEP and DIRECTIONAL ranges, the only di erence being the ability to t a greater number of accessories in front of the light source. A wide range of colour lters, lenses and louvres are available (see pages 22-23).

Sur face Mini Standard

Levello’s unique xing system allows spotlights to be installed or replaced with simplicity and ease using our magnetic xing system and the connectors supplied with the products. The simple nature of the construction allows for other spotlights to easily be incorporated into the Levello system, should you have a speci c request please contact our technical team.

To keep ordering simple we only supply the surface range of products as “inserts” and therefore housings need to be ordered separately (see table below or page 26). All of the surface range products come with a prewired connector, the supply side of the mains connector is supplied with the housing.

Products with a Paintable Plate come as a kit-of-parts which require assembly. The plate needs to be painted before being xed to the Front Plate, assembly of the kit is straightforward.

The Mini-Standard Spotlight accepts GU10 Lamps and is supplied with a mains connector and magnets. It is supplied without lamp, which is available from us (see page 20).

Our range of Spotlights o er an elegant solution for every installation, they are machined from high grade aluminium and available in black and white. The Spot products are particularly suitable for feature lighting or museums.

The Spot products will accept a 45 ° Honeycomb Louvre or two lenses or lters (see Pages 22-23), Barndoors and Snoots are also available. All of the Spot products are supplied with a mains connector tted, and are plug and play out of the box. The MR16 versions are supplied with a driver interconnection kit to reduce installation time.

Mini

The Mini Spot spotlight is a miniature surface LED spot, at 30mm in diameter and 41mm in length is very discrete, although not lacking in power. Its 700lm output at 90 CRI only requires 6.5W, at over 100 Lumen / watts it is among the most e cient LED spots available.

The Mini Spot has a 24º beam angle, providing a smaller area of illumination which is perfect for feature lighting or museums. We o er the Mini Spot at a 3000K colour temperature. (should you require other colour temperatures please contact our sales team).

The ttings accept a variety of di users and snoots and are supplied with a factory assembled and tested driver kit for ‘Plug and Play’ installation.

Drop Pendent Inserts Set

The exibility of Levello is amply demonstrated by the ability to swap out a downlight for a pendent. This is achieved with our pendent bridge, which is inserted through the housing and into the ceiling void, resting on the upper surface of the ceiling. The pendent cord hangs on top of the bridge anchored by a cable strain. Installation is quick and easy with our connectors, eliminating tricky connections at height. Pendent kits are tested to a maximum weight of 5 Kg.

To keep ordering simple we only supply the DROP range of products as “inserts” and therefore housings need to be ordered separately (see table below or page 26).

Products with paintable plates come as a kit of parts which require assembly, as the front plate needs to be painted before the cable is passed through it, assembly of the kit is straightforward.

The Pendent Conversion Kit allows you to convert any 3rd party pendent into your own ‘Levello Pendent ’, the only limitation is that it cannot weigh more than 5 Kg The conversion is quick and simple and tting the pendent could not be easier. The conversion kit comes with a bridge, cable strain and a mains connector.

Drop Pendent Inserts Set

Our hand-made Glass Pendents are stunning in their simplicity. They are supplied fully assembled with a 2m cable, E27 lamp holder and mains connector assembly Paintable versions come as a kit which needs to be assembled. Devices

Ceilings are not only cluttered by lighting, many other devices are being installed – movement sensors, smoke alarms, audio systems to name but a few. C-Line Smoke Alarm by Levello

The C-Line Smoke and Heat alarms are arguably the smallest in the world. Less than 40mm in diameter and 40mm in height both alarms have a 10-year battery life, 10-minute pause option, 30 day battery warning and feature a sounder which produces 85dB(A) at 3 meters.

The Microhawk is 65mm in diameter and 36mm high and has a 5-year battery life, 10-minute pause option, 30-day battery warning and feature a sounder which produces 85dB(A) at 3 meters. The Interlink option allows the alarm to connect wirelessly to up to 14 other Microhawk devices.

The choice of lamp for a particular space depends on several criteria; such as Colour Rendering, Light Output, Colour Temperature, lifetime and e cacy. Our products are based on the MR16 form factor (50mm Diameter) which gives access to the widest range of light sources; GU10’s, 12volt MR16’s and high output Light Engines. Which ensures four products will meet almost any design requirement.

Levello have selected the latest generation LED technologies to match current demands in terms of high colour quality, low power consumption and suitability with leading lighting control systems. To reduce problems with the selection of the correct drivers and to eliminate costly errors when connecting the various components, we supply factory tested light engine sets. Combined with our connectors the Light Engine Sets are plug and play for swi installation.

GU10 Lamps

Our GU10 lamps with an output of more or less over 100 lumen / Watts are among the most e cient GU10 lamps available. They feature a COB (chip on board) design making them aesthetically pleasing as they look like traditional incandescent lamps. The PMMA lens provides even light distribution whilst eliminating glare and the Cold-Forged Aluminium Alloy heat sink provides excellent thermal management. The dimming performance has been independently tested and veri ed by most of the UK's leading control gear and dimming system manufacturers, who have rated the lamps “Good” or “Excellent”. They come with a 3 year or 35,000 hour manufacturers guarantee.

Considered the lamp of choice by many lighting designers we o er a range of Soraa lamps and Truelux drivers, Soraa’s 3rd generation products paired with Truelux drivers perfectly compliment Levello luminaires. These lamps feature VIVID COLOR (CRI-95, R9-95) and NATURAL WHITE Technology, with enhanced R9 saturated red performance. They make colours and objects appear true to life. They are all dimmable and we have matched them to drivers which feature a so shutdown during the last 1% of dimming to avoid icker. Levello o ers a comprehensive range of beam shaping and colour rendering accessories, all of which can be tted at the point of installation or retro tted without the use of tools. We have selected a range of lters categorised into; Louvres & lenses, Technical lters and Colour lters.

In Applications where Lenses, Louvres or Colour lters are required, please select from either the LOW PROFILE, DEEP PLUS or DIRECTIONAL PLUS ranges. Please note the DEEP and DIRECTIONAL ranges will not accept accessories.

For ease of understanding the lenses and lters are described in units of module height, the table below shows how many modules each light tting can accommodate. All lenses and lters are 1 module high with the exception of the 45 ° Honeycomb Louvre, which is double in height - 2 modules high.

Louvres reduce glare and spill light for a cleaner e ect and appearance, Beam Shaping Lenses can be used to modify a beam shape either by elongating a round beam into an oval beam with a Linear lens; or breaking up the image of a light source by using a prismatic lens; or uniformly so ening a hard edged beam and enlarging its dimensions with a So ening Di usion Lens.

Technical Filters

These enable the colour temperature of a lamp or light source to be modi ed as indicated below. Giving designers the ability to match one light source to another or to reduce the di erence between adjacent areas. CT Orange lters warm the tone of high colour temperature light sources making a warmer more social environment. While CT Blue lters freshen and cool the warmer tone of low colour temperature light sources. Eighth and Quarter CT Blue will reduce any obvious red tone, while Half CT Blue shi s a warm reddish tone creating a neutral white environment. Full CT Blue will create a noticeable daylight tone / e ect.

Accessories Filters

Our range of Dichroic glass colour lters enables designers and home owners to be creative with colour, for this reason Levello has selected a range of modern vibrant colours. Colour swatches are available on request. The list below indicates the transmission % of each lter, or in simple terms the amount of light the lter will allow to pass through it.

Magnet covers enhance the Flush Range, adding an aesthetic nishing quality’; where white magnet covers serve to naturally blend the lighting into the ceiling for an even more unobtrusive e ect. Matt black magnet covers reduce glare and specular re ections of the light source. Other colours are available on request. Magnet covers are compatible with the LOW PROFILE, DIRECTIONAL and DIRECTIONAL PLUS products.

Ba es enhance the lighting e ects and improve the aesthetics of the DEEP and DIRECTIONAL products. A ‘darklight’ e ect can be created with the addition of a black ba e as glare is reduced. White ba es create a uniform aperture having a so er lighting aesthetic which merges the lighting with any white ceiling. Ba es in other colours allow customisation and can enhance the e ect of the lighting.

Baf es are not compatible with Fire Rated products as the intumescent material takes the place of the Ba e.

Fire Rated products are supplied with black interiors as standard, white + other colours are available on request.

Lof t Insulation Clip

Lo Insulation Covers protect the Levello tting and control gear from lo insulation. Our range of covers limit dra s, improve air tightness and reduces moist air ow into lo space, as well as enhancing the acoustic protection of the ceiling. They are all "F-Capped" Approved and comply with BS EN 60598, IP6 Dust tight, GREENDEAL, ECO, PAS 2030 & CITB.

The Magnetic Removal Tool makes removing front plates a simple task, for convenience it is extendable from 140mm to 655mm and also incorporates an LED torch.

These are available in both paintable and powder coated to RAL9010 versions. The paintable front plates can be covered in the same paint as is used for the ceiling to ensure a perfect nish.

Housings

Unlike other lighting products the modularity of the Levello system lends itself to a di erent way of ordering and stock holding. Therefore, as well as complete products, we o er ‘First Fix’ and ‘Second Fix’ sets.

The advantage of this is that the installer only has those items on site which they can use during rst x without having to worry about damaging or losing inserts, drivers or lamps. This also permits designers to change the tting and e ect as the interior evolves

First Fix Sets

The kits contain all of the necessar y items to install the product ready for the decorator to complete their work

Second Fix Sets

The ‘Second Fix’ sets are not required until the ceiling has been completely nished. The sets comprise of the insert, magnets and prewired lamp holder and connector assembly; making the ‘Second x’ of an installation ‘Plug and Play’.

The ‘Second Fix’ sets are sold in packs of two, the product codes for the ‘Second Fix’ sets are the same as for the complete products except they start with a “3” i.e. LE1015 for the complete product, LE3015 for the insert twin pack.

Holesaws

The Retro t Holesaw has been specially designed to enable installers to t Levello Housings in nished ceilings or where the plasterboard has been tape and jointed. It has two cutting edges so that it cuts the hole and the rebate for the lip of the housing. The product comes complete with a test housing allowing the installer to check that the rebate is square and that the housing will t ush into the ceiling.

Installation

The housings are simple to install and nish although a di erent tool is required depending upon the ceiling nish For ceilings where they will be skim plastered before painting a standard 62mm holesaw is required (LE9007). Where the product is being installed into a nished ceiling or the ceiling will be taped and jointed we recommend you use our specially designed Retro t Holesaw (LE9008).

Please note: The use of the decorator ’s disks is impor tant as it reduces installation time and prevents the housing being filled with plaster or paint. The front plates will not fit flush if the housing has paint or plaster in it
