EXECUTIVE SUMMARY SUMMARY On average, a minimum of 2.2 Mio. actual people per event are reached by each FIA GT Series event; by watching it on TV and viewing it online.

Thanks to a selection of circuits and events that favour spectators’ attendance, on average 20.000 spectators attend a FIA GT race.

It doesn’t include country news, <5min. duration magazine programmes, reach through printed media attendance and the growing spectators at events.

With the season final and a very big, governmentbacked event in Baku this figure is expected to increase.

On average, a minimum of 1.8 – 1.9 Mio. people per event have watched a FIA GT Series telecast (Live/ Same day or Highlights).

On average, 17,000 spectators per event have come and visited the circuit in order to enjoy a FIA GT race.

On average, 276,000 people per event have used an online medium to watch or retrieve information about the FIA GT Series.

On average, 48 international key media representatives have been accredited per event and have deliver an extensive, intern. coverage of the FIA GT Series.

On average, a minimum of 1.8 – 1.9 Mio. people per event have watched telecasts of a FIA GT Series event (Live/ Same day or Highlights). The average time which is telecasted globally sums up to more than 282 hours per event. It is distributed across 75% of all existing countries. •  The first FIA GT race in Nogaro has been watched by 70,000 viewers on RTL Nitro and 610.000 viewers have watched the Highlight on RTL. Despite this early broadcasting time and not being representative for the rest of the season, the figures of the first two races have still been used in this presentation for benchmarking and others. It sums up to a total of 680.000 viewers for the premier and first ever GT-race on the RTL network. •  In addition, 3.35 mio people watched the news edit about the Nogaro Qualifying Race as part of RTL‘s main news „RTL Aktuell“ on Sunday 31st. •  From Nogaro to Zolder, the real viewership on RTL Nitro has nearly doubled to 120,000; People watching the FIA GT Zolder race summary on RTL accounted for 1.16 Mio, which results in a total of 1.28 Million people who have seen the FIA GT Zolder event on the RTl Group. •  On top, 3.1 mio. people have watched the news edit of Zolder Qualifying Race as part of „RTL Aktuell“ and n-tv News, which was repeated 4x times. •  The overall number sums up to 8.41 Million people, who have seen any picture of the first two rounds of the FIA GT on the RTL Group. OUR APPROACH

Broadcast Schedule Audit »  We conducted all event related broadcasts that were clearly assigned by programme title (dedicated programmes: live, delayed, re-live, highlights) with our fully automated analysis tool during the defined audit period.

Rates & Ratings »  Where there is an audience available (metered) the official rate was used. Where there is no metered audience available the audiences were estimated based on detailed and transparent criteria.
