The Edward Slosson House, built in 1913, is one of the largest Craftsman dwellings in Greenwich. This unique home is situated on the crest of a small knoll in a coveted Riverside estate area and comes with deeded access to Long Island Sound. The owners entirely restored the residence in 2001 with painstaking care to retain the soul of the home while bringing it into the 21st century. At the center of this home is the great room, noted for its sheer volume of space. As the focal point, the Craftsman fireplace is faced with small, block-like bricks, which create a bold rectangular design. Steeped in history, the original lanterns and quarter sawn oak paneling were preserved and reused during the renovation.
