We also offer auditing services for company safety programs. No matter what you’re looking for in safety training or program management, we have the ability to customize our courses and services to meet your needs. Contractor companies may recall that for the past three years, we have been the only St. Louis area satellite of the Houston Area Safety Council (HASC). As a satellite location for HASC, we provide The Basic Orientation Plus® and The Basic Refresher® and most of the ARSC site–specific modules for working at refineries, plants and manufacturers across the country. If you need ARSC reciprocal safety badging for contracted jobs, we can provide it here before your workers travel there. Additionally, we have a long–standing partnership with the Alliance Safety Council and provide all the PowerSafe® training modules (power generation and transmission). If you are in the skilled trades and construction arena and need these safety programs for access to such worksites, please call (618) 468–5785 for more information. Finally, please keep in mind that our department can custom create or deliver any supervisory, managerial, team building or safety–related course for your work group, at your location or ours, exactly when you require. So if you don’t see a topic listed, please call us – one catalog isn’t big enough to cover all the leadership, team building and other types of programs in our curriculum. Feel free to call me anytime to discuss these classes and more. Live safe. Work safe. It’s what you know.

Horseback Riding Mommy, Me and a Pony!
Saddle Up!
Mommy, Me and a Pony is not just for “mommies.” Any parent, grandparent or guardian is welcome to attend. Adult/child teams will work together as they learn how to brush their horse, put the saddle on and give commands for whoa, go and turn while riding. Riders will expand their experiences to include trot practice and rein handling. Activities include riding bareback (optional) and independent riding in the obstacle course. Riding objective is to walk and trot independently while demonstrating proper riding technique. Riding a horse improves the skills of balance, coordination, forethought, empathy and the control of one’s own emotions. Rocky Branch horses are generous, patient and sweet–natured. Riders will demonstrate their new skills for family and friends on the last day of class and be presented with a rosette ribbon. This is a 3– week class with the 4th week free or used as a make–up class. Class size is limited to 6.
Six levels to take you from whoa to go! This program takes students from beginner to accomplished equestrian. Each level is a set of building blocks combining riding skills and horse care knowledge. Students will learn how to answer questions like, how much oats do I feed a horse? What’s the difference between hay and straw? How do I clean my horse’s hooves? How to feed an apple to a horse? Riding activities include playing games on horseback, riding bareback, navigating hills and bridges and a life–size riding maze. Parents are welcome to stay and watch from the viewing deck. Riders are welcome to borrow boots and riding helmets. This is a 3–week class with the 4th week free or used as a make–up class. Class size is limited to 6.
