This summer, we are celebrating 25 years of College for Kids! What began as a small selection of enrichment programs for children after school has grown to a year round program with an action–packed and academically rich summer camp component. As we’ve done each summer since 1989, our staff has put together a wide variety of enrichment classes for children ages 4 to 16, adults and working professionals in the community. Lifelong learning never stops, and I hope you take advantage of the awesome opportunities in store for you and your kids this summer.

Children are not to be left unattended on campus or class locations.
Child Readiness
The College reserves the right to deny participation or dismiss students who are unable or unwilling to conform to an instructor’s rules. Parents are responsible for assessing their child’s readiness and ability to participate in a program. Should parents have any questions regarding program requirements with respect to their child’s ability to participate, parents may contact the College for Kids office at (618) 468–5750. Unless otherwise noted, all our students are required to be potty trained and independent regarding bathroom routines.
Consent & Release Form
All children must return a signed Consent & Release form on the first day of class. A form will be included with the confirmation letter or available at check–in on the first day.

“The Welding for Women workshop is a great opportunity for any woman who wants to try something that she may have never had the chance to or even thought about. There is a lot of camaraderie between the women in the class. It’s a supportive, fun atmosphere, where women gain greater knowledge of the equipment and products for home or hobby use. It’s also empowering to learn a new skill, particularly one that is considered male dominated.” Gailyn Cornell, Welding instructor Lewis and Clark Community College
