L&C offers classes in
Music Production As music technology continues to grow, it is important for musicians and educators to have an understanding of music production in order to be competitive in their fields. L&C’s Music Department offers two semesters of music production focusing on the use of Pro-Tools recording software. These courses teach students to set up recording sessions, edit and mixing recordings. Also included in the courses is the use of compression, effects, drum loops, vocal pitch correction and VST plug-ins. This is a great opportunity for musicians to create a demo for their band, record originals or even learn how to produce music in their home studio.
Music Production Courses Electronic Music Production Course # MUSI 154
Introduces the study of Pro Tools recording software. Includes principles of sound synthesis, editing, virtual instruments and much more.
