The Lewis and Clark Pups Travel the Trail In honor of the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System, five special (plush toy) dogs, the Lewis and Clark Pups, traveled in the paw prints of their ancestor Seaman, dog of Meriwether Lewis. Harper hikes to the top of the cliffs at Buffalo Jump State Park. It is known for being the largest buffalo jump in North America. Ulm, Montana.
The pups covered over 3,700 miles to complete their mission to commemorate and protect the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. Each pup stopped at various visitor locations along Harper enjoyed her visit to Ice Harbor Lock and Dam, the last dam on the Snake River before it merges with the Columbia River.
