WELCOME TO THE 36TH ANNUAL
Festival of Trees This year’s 36th Annual Festival of Trees is an exciting one! TriState Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus continues to make your health our first priority. Part of putting your health as our first priority is doing everything we can to keep the community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. To not compromise the health of our community, many events are going digital. As a leading healthcare provider in the Lewis-Clark Valley, we will be following this trend. In order to keep our loved ones and the community safe this year, the Festival of Trees events will take place virtually.
On behalf of the hospital’s Board of Directors and Trustees, medical staff, and employees, I want to extend our deepest appreciation to our contributors who help make this event possible. The Festival of Trees is the foundation’s largest fundraiser, which gives it great importance. It ensures that the foundation can carry out its mission in supporting Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus with life-saving equipment, programs, and services. As the valley’s only community owned and operated hospital, we are privileged to support you and your family. With your generous help and
support, we can plan for our growing community’s future and current healthcare needs. Your contributions to Tri-State Hospital Foundation remain steadfast and support their commitment to “stand in the gap” in providing quality healthcare to our patients. Just this last year, Tri-State Hospital Foundation has provided the hospital with over $580,000 to meet needs that enhance the patient’s experience. The foundation is vital to the success of Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus. The Festival of Trees presents a unique opportunity for you to invest in our community’s healthcare for generations to come. Your support of the Festival of Trees is genuinely appreciated. Your abundant generosity does not go unnoticed. Sincerely,
Don Wee, Chief Executive Officer

A COMMUNITY
Tradition
Our 36th Annual Festival of Trees celebration will look and feel different this year. It will be the first time we have held the Festival of Trees virtually! This decision was not an easy one to make, but as a healthcare organization, we needed to think of your health and well-being above all else. The Trustees and staff of the foundation worked through the logistics of the event to see how we can still include the community without compromising your health and safety at the same time. The Red Lion Hotel has generously volunteered to have the large trees on display in their Warrior Conference Room from October 24-November 28. Red Lion Hotel is creating viewing opportunities for the public throughout the weeks and on the weekends. We are still encourag-
ing our community to help decorate mini-trees, wreaths, and create baskets for our online Silent Auction on November 18-22. We will have our Live Online Gala Auction on November 21, starting at 5:30 PM, for the grand finale. Having the event online allows everyone to attend! We are excited about how our supporters have embraced this new opportunity to be involved with the Festival of Trees.
