East Juniata softball made the District 4 Class 2A tournament and went 11-10 this season. At one point the Tigers went 8-2 during a 10-game stretch. EJ beat opponents such as Greenwood, Halifax, Line Mountain, and Susquenita.

Juniata track and field athlete Sylvia Brubaker earned first place in the 3200. Grace Wagner tied for eighth in the girls pole vault. Brubaker was third during the 800 at the TVL Championship meet. In the same meet, Brubaker was first in the 1600 and 3200. Haley Mummah was eighth in the triple jump. Jessica Maben placed third in the pole vault. Mariska Beward was fifth in the discus and javelin. Beward finished seventh in the shot put.

Mifflin County baseball won the District 6 Class 6A Championship this season after beating State College, 10-5, at Mount Aloysius College. The Huskies had a memorable year under first-year coach Ray Hoppel. MC earned a first-round bye in the district tourney after clinching the top seed. The Huskies went 14-7 and some of their wins came against State, Midd-West, Mt. Union, Chambersburg, and Red Land. The Huskies’ season ended in their subregional contest.
County softball reached the D6 Class 6A Championship game after beating Altoona,
the season 10-9. Some of their
County track and field made noise in 2024. Carter Smith had plenty of standout performances, including a first-place finish in the 800 during Day 2 of the district championships. The 4x800 relay team of Caden Bell, Wyatt Kauffman, Smith, and Tylor Druckemiller, and Isaac Parks-Gill finished second in the event at districts. Myka Simmons was second in the 100 and third in the 200 during the district events. Also at the district meet, Smith was first in the 800, securing a new meet record and the fastest time in Pennsylvania this year. At states,
