Youth Camps & Clinics
LexRec S.O.A.R. (Summer Outdoor Arts & Recreation)
LexRec S.O.A.R. is a theme-based day camp program open to children ages 4-12 (entering Pre-K through Grade 6 as of September 2023). Each session, the campers will participate in a wide variety of theme-related games, sports, nature activities, group/team challenges, create wonderful crafts projects, and swim at the Town Pool! The field and amenities at the Center Recreation Complex, such as the Center Playground, Center Track and Field, and Lexington Town Pool will be our outdoor space with classrooms and the gymnasium at Lexington High School available for use during high heat and inclement weather. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and have had successful CORI and SORI background checks. All participants must be toilet trained.

The Neighborhood Camp
Throughout the day campers will be participating in arts and crafts, outdoor games, team building activities, time in the Community Center games room, water play and more! Each week will have a new and fun special event! Special events will range from a magician to a reptile show, and more. Each week is different! All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and have had successful CORI and SORI background checks.

Blue Sox Baseball Camp | $235 Resident • $245 Non-Resident
Come learn baseball from the 16-time Intercity League Champions, the Lexington Blue Sox! This program will be led by a collection of current and former Blue Sox players and coaches. With an emphasis on skill development aimed at student-athletes who want to play baseball at a competitive level, the Blue Sox Baseball Camp is an opportunity for children to learn the ins and outs of baseball. By dedicating time each day to understanding different parts of the game, players will not only develop skills on the field, but take away drills, off-field training, and recovery ideas. This program strives to create an environment where student-athletes want to not only better themselves, but also their teammates. Daily activities will include stretching, band work, throwing program, defensive theme of the day, offensive instruction, and scrimmaging.
Offered Monday-Thursday with Friday as a rain date. Players should bring a baseball glove.

FC Academy - Filmmaking

Filmmaking & Special Effects
In this class, students will learn a new way to approach filmmaking. Not only will they collaborate to make their own short film, but they will also learn a new skill that will expand their creative approach to filmmaking. This class will focus on all things special effects using tools such as green screens, movie props, camera techniques, and professional editing software to bring their imagination to life. Together they will write, shoot, and edit a film in the genre of their choosing.
Circuit Lab
Hands On Electronics & App Inventors
$265 Resident • $275 Non-Resident
Children experiment with electronics and circuitry, as well as designing their own interactive/ programmable devices. Arduino (build interactive devices) and Raspberry Pi (to learn about computers/ coding) are used to experiment with LEDs, resistors, motors, and programming. Each day your child will design a hands-on project. How do phone apps work? In this no-experience-required course, use MITApp Inventor software to make fun, creative apps for Android phones and tablets. Build custom Bluetooth hardware controllers for apps.
F.A.S.T. Athletics Flag Football
Early registration fee is $225 for Half Day and $310 for Full Day — valid through May 1st, so sign up early!
F.A.S.T. Athletics will teach everyone game strategies, catching techniques, and most importantly how to work together as a team. Participants will participate in different situational games such as Red Zone Defense, Fourth and Inches, and the QB Challenge as they learn the importance of fair play. Each class will end with a simulated game broken down into 4 quarters –the coaches will have tons of plays ready to go for their teams!

Kids Test Kitchen
$335 Resident • $345 Non-Resident
Each class presents students with an opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, we’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until we’ve prepared the finished dish. During this in-person session we’ll celebrate ingredients that will offer ideas for quick and healthy dishes for the family to enjoy together. At the end of class your aspiring chef will receive the main ingredient, or a sample of the finished dish, and the recipe. Each session arrives with fresh new recipes and ideas to inspire your healthy eater! Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe.
Minuteman Flag Football Clinic
$205 Resident
The clinic will be led by Shane Wilson, LHS Varsity Football Coach, and members of the LHS football team. This non-contact flag football clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of football: offense, defense, and the kicking game. Skill development, Punt, Pass, & Kick competitions and flag football games will all be a part of the program.
Minuteman Boys Hoop I – $260 Resident
Led by Reggie Hobbs, LHS Boys Varsity Basketball Coach, this program will reinforce basic skills and promote new skills with drills, contests, and game play. Participants should bring a water bottle, snack, and lunch.
Minuteman Girls Hoop II – $205 Resident
Join Steve Solly, LHS Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, to develop and improve basketball skills and teamwork. Games, drills, demonstrations, and fun contests will be used to teach and reinforce skills.
Minuteman PDP Girls Basketball & Leadership
$260 Resident • $270 Non-Resident
Join some of Lexington's top basketball coaches this summer for a fun basketball development program to improve basketball skills, leadership skills, and build confidence on and off the court. LHS Head Coach Steve Solly (licensed by USA Basketball as a "Gold-Level" coach, named 20152016 Division 1 North Coach of the Year) and assistant coach Adrienne Mugar (former professional athlete and Boston University captain) pride themselves on making this a truly transformative week. The program is challenging yet developmentally appropriate for rising 6th-10th grade girls to help improve confidence and decision making on the basketball court. This clinic features detail-oriented basketball skills and concepts as well as an exciting sports leadership curriculum on a daily basis. Previous basketball experience is strongly encouraged. Program will be offered Monday-Thursday.
Minuteman Junior Golf
$205 Resident
This program, led by LPS teacher and coach Kazu Ebihara, encourages teenage golfers to play with friends, while improving their game. Each time on the course will allow participants to reinforce previously taught skills. Instruction will focus on golf etiquette, rules of play, and other focal points within the game of golf.
Players must have playing experience and provide their own equipment. Program will be offered on Monday-Thursday with Friday as a rain date. Fee includes general instruction and greens fees.
Viking Half SNAG Golf/Half Multi-Sports Camp
$350 Resident • $360 Non-Resident

Viking’s Half SNAG Golf/Half Multi-Sports Camp is an excellent way to get your kid excited about golf. Viking adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) program to teach new golfers how to play this enjoyable lifelong sport. Our coaches understand the importance of fundamentals of form in teaching swinging, putting, and body positioning. The SNAG system uses modified equipment to implement the curriculum developed by PGA professionals. Viking provides all the equipment for this very popular program. At this camp, we spend half our day working and developing golf skills and the other half of the day playing the sports and games we play at our super popular multi-sports games. What’s really neat is we still do our world famous Tournament Day at the end of the week, but this week it also includes a golf skills competition as part of the games! All players receive a Viking Sports T-shirt.
