It’s the 6-year anniversary for the Envy officially thrusting the kite to a legacy status! The Envy is the anchor of the LF kite line highlighted by versatility and ease of use from the beginner to the pro rider. The design staff, lead by Julien Fillion, took a deep look at 6 years of history in the kite to bring the 2016 Envy to life. The big question: How do you make an already amazing performing kite better? This answer was not simple to attain. But what resulted is a kite that is now packed with user adjustability that when combined with a refined wingtip profile increases bar feel and response, you now have a kite that will satisfy any free riding, free styling, connoisseur. Nothing has been lost in the refinements of the Envy. Rock solid stability, easy on / off power delivery and a light weight bomb proof construction will inspire confidence and progression at any level.

The Solo has established itself as a market leader. In just over 1 year this single strut wonder has taken the kiteboarding world by storm. This design thought to be fringe in the beginning has proven to be an established platform. The lightweight benefits of drift and efficiency through the wind window and pack ability give the Solo outstanding characteristics that span the all terrain free rider all the way to the growing hydro foiling segment. For the Solo V2, we have added slight changes that enhance the handling and feeling at the bar. Increased profile in the wingtips provides better bar response and non-visual feel from the kite. The addition of a Tension Trailing Edge increased laminar flow, which results in decreased fluttering giving the kite a smoother feel at the bar.

Based off the legacy of Liquid Force’s most popular kiteboard of all time (the Influence), the Legacy delivers a cutting- edge overhaul. Jason Slezak and Jimmy Redmon put their heads together in designing a board providing a similar feel as the Influence with thinner and lighter design for unrivaled performance. The Legacy’s advancements include a progressive rail concave for added edge hold and enhanced durability, a full double concave for more efficient riding, and a state-of-the-art flex profile for eating choppy conditions, softer landings, and more powerful takeoffs. The result: an organic, flowing, hand-shaped feel. For 2016 the Legacy gets a weight reduction with the use of a vector net carbon weave base lamination allowing for the reduction of the use of multiple glass laminations.
