Ecological Oasis
Educational Research Center | Kennesaw State University, USA | Fall 2024 | Partner Project
Our project redefines the boundary between interior and exterior, developing a continuous flow of people, organisms, and environmental elements to create a dynamic, symbiotic ecosystem. By integrating permeable thresholds, the design blurs conventional separations, allowing human and non-human inhabitants to coexist in harmony. Serving as both shelter and habitat, this environment promotes biodiversity and resilience, demonstrating a model for sustainable development that prioritizes preservation of an ecological oasis.
