We may be fast approaching the summer but the British weather is being as temperamental as ever. Last Friday morning there was a thunder and lightning storm even though it had been scorching hot all week. Typical when we had planned to have a family BBQ. Luckily for us though it had cleared up by the evening.

Snakes and Ladders is perfect for people who have families with kids at different ages. Your over 5’s will love monkeying around the place using the tunnels, slides, ropes and ball pits whilst your toddler will love the soft play area designed for those who are adventurous but not as big. A key feature of Snakes and Ladders would have to be the electric motorbikes which your kids will love zooming about on.

Jellybugs Café in Kingston town is a soft play area which is perfect for before, during and after shopping trips. The café may look small from the outside but it has the whole TARDIS effect going on. Inside there is a 2 story climbing frame for kids to go wild on. They will love swinging, sliding and jumping around the place and finishing their play time with a hot Panini.

Gambado’s is one of the largest kids play centres in the area. It is situated in Chelsea so public transport of a vehicle is a must. It’s worth it though! Gambado’s boasts one the biggest indoor climbing frames in the area as well as dodgems, a junior climbing wall and a carousel to ensure that your little ones never get bored. Gambado’s also has fenced off soft play area for adventurous toddlers.

Kidspace have indoor adventure centres in Croydon and Romford. They aim towards slightly older explorers who like to run round jumping, screaming and climbing. Your kids will love swinging about the place and will like the fact there is movie rooms for when their legs get tired. Both Kidspace venues have disabled toilets, cafĂŠs and soft play areas for younger kids.
