A film distributor sends the copies of the film to those who will pay to screen them e.g. Odeon and Vue, they also create posters and put together adverts and send them out to TV stations and companies that will put up the posters on buses and walls, perhaps also selling them to audience members
3)How does reach relate to film distribution? Reach relates to how much of the target audience they can reach with their efforts, the wider the reach the more of an audience the film will get in cinemas and in DVD sales and digital downloads

The distribution plan is what channels you are going to use to make sure that your product reaches as many members of your audience as possible, working out delivery costs in terms of physical copies for cinemas to screen and if its straight to DVD, then how many copies are you going to write and who is going to do that for you.
