Questionnaire results analysis

Questionnaire results analysis From the results I have gathered from members of the general public I have been given a shell of which to build upon when creating my comic magazine. Firstly 90% of my audience don’t read the current college based magazine which shows that the current magazine is not reaching the audience it has targeted thus showing that the magazine needs to become more appealing. Additionally 85% of my survey group wanted for the magazine to be sold from a price between nothing and 50p,as a result I shall charge nothing for the magazine as everyone likes something more when its free. When questioned on the regularity of the magazine the survey group concluded that the magazine should be sold every month or every fortnight with 60% opting for the options under that umbrella, as a result I shall be publishing the magazine every fortnight as then the information given will stay relevant for the right amount of time before possibly expiring. When questioned about what content shall make up the main body of the magazine it was shown that our target audience wants student tips above all else and coming in a close second to fifth was gig guides, college events, local events and fashion. In terms of what colours should be featured on the front page and throughout the magazine black came out on top with white, blue, red and purple following up, overall I have decided to use the colours black white and blue as they go well together and any more colours would convolute the cover. When enquired about a jobs page the conclusive answer was yes meaning that a jobs page should be advertised as a main feature. One of the last questions was about what image they would like to see on their front cover 75% said that they would like to see either an image of a student or an image of student work as their cover, as a result I am going to use an image of a student as I believe that that will be more appealing. Mopping up the last two questions there was nothing conclusive for the font used or the name of the magazine so I shall be deciding these at a later date when I do some more market research.
