WHY BECOME A SPONSOR?
BIGGER CROWDS MEAN GREATER REACH FOR YOUR BRAND
With more than 20 Liberty Men’s DI Hockey games played at the LaHaye Ice Center each year and a maximum capacity of 3,000 fans per game, you have the potential of reaching 60,000 people at these events alone! The men’s DI team is coming off another great season where it made it to the final four of the ACHA nationals for the second time in program history. The team’s breakaway success is sure to bring more fans to the rink. And that’s not all — the LaHaye Ice Center houses four more ACHA hockey teams and facilitates various special events for the public each year, including junior and adult tournaments, summer camps, local field trips, and campus events.
Altogether, your company’s brand could reach upward of 250,000 people .
Liberty Club Sports has become one of the leading programs in the nation , offering a student-athlete experience comparable to programs at the highest level of NCAA competition.
Modeled after NCAA Division I athletic programs, Liberty Club Sports has experienced enormous growth since 2008, due in large part to direct support and financial investment from sponsors and the university.
Liberty’s Club Sports program began unofficially in 1985 with a collection of student-led teams that continued competing sporadically until 2008. The Club Sports department was officially recognized by Liberty University in 2008 and has grown to its current status as one of the top programs in the country .
In recent years, the department renovated the ice rink and added a training complex, a lacrosse complex, an equestrian center, beach volleyball courts, and disc golf courses to Liberty’s campus. The Club Sports program has blossomed from five teams with 82 student-athletes in 2008 to 40+ teams with more than 725 student-athletes in the 2023-24 season.
Liberty’s student fanbase makes Club Sports games some of the highest-attended sporting events on campus. Midnight games for men’s hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball draw thousands of fans, and men’s hockey is the second most attended sport on campus after NCAA football .
