“I think the secret to an enriching academic experience is not necessarily found in the institution’s theological training but rather in its commitment to come alongside the local church. I so enjoyed my time at Liberty because every professor trains their students with the local church’s mission in mind. I felt loved, challenged, equipped, and ultimately sent out in confidence to help change the world for Christ!”
CALEB TARPLEY (2021), Middle School Pastor Thomas Road Baptist Church

“You can’t teach what you don’t know. This line summarizes why I decided to pursue my Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. I believe that our church leaders need to be equipped to properly handle the Word of God and be able to teach it to others. My time in the program has deepened both my knowledge of the Bible and my love for God. Each professor here demonstrates a reverence for the Lord that comes through in their teaching. They are professors [who] love the Lord and care about the students they teach.”
SALLY COX (2023), Associate Student Minister First Baptist Church Broken Arrow

“Each M.A.C.M. course supplemented my role within the local church, allowing me to build upon the ministry foundation that had already been laid. I was able to take the material being taught by my professors and immediately apply it in a ministry setting. This degree has helped me better love God, love people, and make disciples.”

Had it not been for my degree, I would not have been equipped to faithfully disciple our new members without leaving some of my cultural deposits intertwined with my discipleship.”
