Our story

begins in Móveis Carlos Alfredo, a company found in 1694, specialized in solid wood furniture manufacture. Started as a small family business by Carlos Alfredo, his brother Elias and a handfull of employees, by 1980 already had more than 60 workers, exporting to neighbor markets like Spain and France. WEWOOD’s name “we are wood” drifts from the company’s main asset: the production of solid wood furniture, combined with a tribute to the Portuguese craftsmen.
