Library Space Improvements 2010 The library has improved the spaces available to our users over the past few months. This is in response to feedback via user surveys, the library web site, and to library staff. New furniture and layouts make the library a better place to be. Highlights include:

On the ground floor

266% increase group study facilities. 30% increase in PC’s & 50% of older PC’s replaced 3 % increase in seating overall 100% increase in the number of notebooks 17.5 % increase in shelving stock.

On the first floor New Group study area, providing facilities for 8 additional groups along side the group study rooms, including new tables and chairs Printer / Photocopier in the new Group Study Area New PC’s in the open access lab Additional PC’s on the mezz Additional study spaces Power points for use of personal laptops added to study spaces New shelving for additional library stock expected in the future
