Dear Students, Welcome to the last Library News of the year. These are exciting times for our library development—over the holidays the library will be transformed and when you come back in September we hope that the refurbishment is going well. We are planning to open the library for you to see the changes in around October. Wishing you a great Summer! Mrs A Robinson, Librarian Library Development We have been working hard all year planning the new library! These are some of the things that are going to happen over the holidays and the first few weeks of next term: • • • •

New floor Extra stairs and new lobbies Lower ceiling with new lighting A new wall to make a classroom for Business Studies—Room 8. This will be at the end where the library used to be. Complete re-decoration of the room New carpet New blinds New shelving, tables, chairs, computer benching, soft seating Nice new desk for Mrs Robinson and the Library Helpers Storage area Laptops
And, of course, lots of new books and other resources for you to borrow! There are lots of other things that we have planned for the Library, but I am not going to tell you those yet so that you can have a surprise when you first visit!
