2013 Monday 16 September
Simon Lindley City Organist
Welcome to the 2013/14 series of Lunchtime Organ Music at Leeds Town Hall. Once again this season is a delight to welcome friends old and new as listeners and performers. As usual, some programmes feature choral and vocal music with the organ at their heart; the two visits by the hugely gifted young musicians of the University of Huddersfield’s Brass Band in December and February will be eagerly awaited by us all.

In the early Spring of 2014 there will be a chance to hear performances from young people at two of our inner city Primary Schools. It is our hope that this innovation will find favour and show us something of the creative endeavours of young members of the community.
Celebrity Recital
A number of our recitalists are appearing at the Town Hall for the first time and to them, as to our regular guests, we extend a very warm Leeds welcome.
Monday 30 September
At the close of each concert, a retiring collection will be taken. The ongoing generosity of the members of our audiences in respect of their generous contributions is hugely appreciated and by no means taken for granted. Thank you all for your continuing support and encouragement.

Tickets: £4 (advance booking essential on 0113 224 3801)
