How to get from the Hostel to the nearest stations

Nearest stations of public transportation to the hostel • With subway U6 (Brown line) go to Handelskai or with Schnellbahn S, S1, S2, S3, S7, R, R2, REX Handelskai (hostel is 10 Min. away)

• With bus #434 go to Wien Friedrich-Engels-Platz (A.-StifterStraße) (hostel is 4 Min. away) • Tram #2, 31, 33 go to Friedrich Engels Platz (Marchfeldstraße) (hostel is 4 Min. away)


Directions •

How to get from airport. The airport is situated two stations away (by city train) from the city border: Airport – Schwechat. These two stations are outside of the city zone, that is why you have to buy single ticket (2,2 euros)* to get to the city zone (to the Schwechat Schnellbahn Station). From “Schwechat” Station you are already in a city and thus you need another ticket (2,2 euros) to travel within the city. From the airport you can take a city train (Schnellbahn – follow S sign) S7 and go to Handelskai Station, which in 10 Min. from a hostel.

How to get from railway station “Westbahnhof”. You have to take brown line of the subway U6 and drive direct to Handelskai.

How to get from international bus station “Erdberg”. You have to take orange line of the subway U3 till Landstraße (Wien Mitte), hier change to Schnellbahn train (follow S sign), every train which goes through Handelskai (look timetable at the platform). • How to get from bus station “Südtiroler Platz”. Your have to take every Schnellbahn train (follow S sign), which goes through Handelskai (look timetable at the platform).

How to buy a ticket The ticket is valid for all types of transportation (subway, tram, bus) in a zone of Vienna City. ALWAYS be careful and make sure that you have stamped your ticket. You have an options to buy: •single ticket – 2,2 euros (is valid during 90 min for moving one way), •24-hour-ticket – 7,6 euros, •48-hour-ticket – 13,30 euros, •72-hour-ticket – 16,50 euros, •weekly ticket – 16,20 euros.

How to get reimbursement for your ticket (1)

• Please keep original bills of your ticket. Copy or scan of the ticket is not enough to get reimbursed • If you cannot provide originals of BOTH tickets (both ways) during the training please do the following (applies to those traveling by car as well): • •

After you return home, please send us the originals of your tickets to the address: Schönlaterngasse 7/8, 1010 Wien In the envelope also include a paper with the following info: • Name • Organisation • Country • BANK DETAILS (IBAN, BIC, name of the account holder etc) • Your travelling route (e.g. if you had to change in other city, please mention it as well) • Note: you can send the tickets from all members of your organisation in one envelope but please mention the info asked above for ALL MEMBERS of the organisation)

Also remember: if you don t proceed with the mentioned steps we cannot garantee you refund! But we still like you 


How to get reimbursement for your ticket (2) • If you can provide originals of BOTH tickets (both ways) during the training please do the following: • Give us your tickets in the envelope include a paper with the following info: • Name • Organisation • Country • Your BANK DETAILS (IBAN, BIC, name of the account holder etc) • Your travelling route (e.g. if you had to change in other city, please mention it as well) • Note: you can send the tickets from all members of your organisation in one envelope but please mention the info asked above for ALL MEMBERS of the organisation) Also remember: if you don t proceed with the mentioned steps we cannot garantee you refund! But we still like you 


How to get reimbursement for your ticket (3) • If you have ONLY electronic ticket as a proof of your trip: • Please print it out • Also, please provide a proof of your ticket booking! • Note: in either of the above mentioned documents there should be clear date of your departure/arrival as well as price of a ticket • Do all the steps mentioned in previous slide (How to get reimbursement for your ticket (2) )

Also remember: if you don t proceed with the mentioned steps we cannot garantee you refund! But we still like you 


How to get reimbursement for your ticket (4) Please note: Erasmus+ plus program has quite strict rules regarding reimbursement of the traveling costs (as you might have noticed from the process of communication regarding this matter . Also, after you submit your travel documents to us, they will be reviewed by Erasmus+ team and THEY make decision regarding reimbursement. From our side, we try to give you as much info and make it as clear as possible, so you receive your money at the end!


Things to have with you (1) For a pleasant stay in the hostel:  Passports!! (even if you are from EU – you will need them for registration)  Towels (hostel does not provide with shower towels)  Sleepers (optional)

Something to present your country and your organisation during our Get to know each other session (be creative, we leave it up to you ☺ ) We want to organise an European Night (program for after-session time :) ), so please bring something tasty from your national food/sweets/drinks IMPORTANT: Please take a close look at the hostel rules following the link


Timetable: Sneak peek Start of the training: •26th of April at 18.00 in the conference room of the hostel •Note: on the first day you will get supper (no breakfast or lunch included). But we will prepare some snacks ☺ End of the training: • 3rd of May at 12.30 in the conference room of the hostel •Note: on the last day of training you will get a lunch box instead of breakfast and a lot of smiles from organisers and trainers ☺ Free time: •you will have at least one free afternoon, most probably on the 29th of April*. •Regarding other free time slots you ll be informed during the training 

We will surely prepare an exciting program for your free afternoon, but feel free to make your own plans. Fun committee will prepare few nice surprises for the evenings after the training sessions
