SPONSOR STORY First National Bank was founded in 1857 by two brothers trading gold dust and buffalo hides. Now, six generations later, descendants of the same family have led the company to become what it is today—the largest privately owned banking company in the United States with locations in seven states and more than 6.6 million customers across the country. First National of Nebraska and its affiliates have $17 billion in managed assets and over 5,000 employee associates. First National Bank is proud to sponsor Lied Center programming. “First National Bank strives to support the community and to deliver quality products and superior service with a caring attitude and commitment to our customers,” said Rich Herink, president of First National Bank in Lincoln. “With this in mind, we are delighted to celebrate the cultural and entrepreneurial spirit of the Lincoln community by supporting the performance of MAMMA MIA!” At First National, you won’t find a one-size-fits-all approach. We take time to really get to know our customers and understand that no two people are alike. To serve the diverse needs of our clients, we offer an array of financial products and services, ranging from personal and private banking to corporate and investment banking. We’re also no strangers to innovation. In fact, we opened the first bank branch specifically for women when the industry was entirely male-dominated. First National was also among the first five banks in the country to issue a credit card and we’re proud to be among the top five lenders in the country for the agricultural and renewable fuels industries. First National Bank is on the leading edge of the banking industry and we’re constantly looking for new ways to provide even more solutions for your financial needs. MEMBER FDIC.
