PERFORMANCE INFO ARRIVING FOR A PERFORMANCE Performance times vary. Please check your ticket or call 402.472.4747 to confirm starting times. Ushers will seat latecomers at an appropriate time to minimize disruption. Each person attending a performance at the Lied Center, regardless of age, must have a ticket. TICKET OFFICE HOURS Monday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM For weekday performances: 11:00 AM – ½ hour after the start of show For weekend performances: Open at Noon for matinees; 5:00 PM for evening shows For Johnny Carson Theater, Kimball Hall and all other venues: Open 1 hour prior to performance PARKING Because of the volume of events downtown, parking is sometimes at a premium. Please allow sufficient time for parking. For parking options, visit parkandgo.org. Valet parking is also provided for many performances. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS Special seating for individuals with disabilities is available upon request. Assisted listening devices are available at coat check at no charge. Patrons are asked to leave an I.D. when checking out a device. Sign interpreters are available but must be requested two weeks in advance. Large print programs available upon request. We are committed to accommodating patrons with disabilities; however, we cannot provide personal care attendants. Patrons must bring their own personal care attendant to provide for needs should the occasion arise. The Lied Center provides seating in the observation room if a patron must leave the theater during a performance.
LIED CENTER
RESTROOMS & COAT CHECK Coatrooms, public restrooms, drinking fountains and telephones are all conveniently located throughout the Lied Center. Please ask an usher if you have trouble locating them. CAMERAS & DIGITAL DEVICES Cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited during performances by contract with the performers and for safety reasons. This includes cell phone photography. Please turn off all electronic devices, including digital watches, pagers and cell phones, upon entering the auditorium. SMOKING is not permitted in University buildings. When weather permits, the outside terraces and other outdoor locations may be used. COUGH DROPS are available from ushers. OBSERVATION ROOM Patrons are welcome to use the observation room at the rear of the theater to view performances. The room is soundproof from the audience but provides a place to see and hear the show without disturbing other guests. Ask an usher for assistance. EMERGENCIES If it is necessary to receive an emergency message while you are attending an event, please leave your name and seat number at the coat check or ticket office. Our emergency number is 402.472.7331. Please take a moment to identify the nearest exit in case evacuation is necessary. If you hear a weather emergency announcement while outside the seating area, please return to your seat and await instructions.
