2016 Warrior Adventure Program Budget A. Senior/Key Personnel $9,500 Program Director: Byron Marlowe will serve as primary contact for KDVA and will guide all aspects of project, including execution of the grant with primary partners and all related paperwork through the sponsoring agency; all budgetary matters including oversight of paperwork, budget monitoring and projections, any necessary grant budget revisions, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines; training and supervision of camp coordinator and staff; oversight of planning and implementation of each camp, risk management planning and training; oversight of evaluation planning and implementation, data collection/analysis and completion of grant reports; serve as primary point of communications for media requests; and review/revisions of program activities if needed to ensure they promote resilience and life skills development for participants. Salary - $9,500 based upon 25% of a salary of $38,000 B. Other Personnel $37,000 Camp Coordinator: Kelly Ulm will perform day-to-day management of project, serving as primary point of communications for all phone calls, mail, emails, faxes and questions regarding all facets of the grant, consulting program director as needed. Responsibilities include development of camp registration packets and revisions as needed; dissemination of registration packets and work with others to post packets on web sites and list-serves, processing applications and notifying families of acceptance; emailing/mailing information to participants in preparation for camps; determine contents for and compiling participant resource bags; development and preparation of resources to be given to participants; partnering with and assisting camp staff and partners in the development, planning, and co-facilitation of camp activities; spearhead logistics (meals, schedules, lodging, parking, rules, risk management, development and approval of master bills, contracts and participant waivers); work with Program Director to plan and execute research component (evaluation tools, dissemination of pre- and post- surveys, assisting with aggregation and analysis of data); completion of all camp reports; presentation/sharing of findings/data; making appropriate revisions to curriculum based on data; assist Program Director with budgeting, purchasing, and completion of all grant-related paperwork; work with Program Director to plan, purchase, and inventory all grant/program resources and materials for camps; disseminate resources/materials in accordance with grant regulations and plans of work. Snowshoe Mountain Ski and Snow Adventure; Snowshoe, WV – $41,607; 50 participants January, 2016 Fees/Health Insurance: Camp and field trip excess accident medical insurance through Associated Group Insurance Administrators as required by most grants. Rate is $.21/day for 56 people (50 participants and 6 staff) for 4 days = $47. Subsistence: Meals/snacks for 56 people @ $125 total/person for continuity of program ($7,000; camp is too far away from food options to be able to suspend programming while participants eat meals on their own); lodging for 3 nights for 9 lofts @ $430/night each ($11,610) = $18,610.


Travel: Charter bus rental to transport participants to and from camp location ($4,000); Fuel charges for LAC staff bus ($450) = $4,450. Stipends: All staff are from Life Adventure Center.
