These theme parks have implemented extra measures to ensure your safety on the property. Protective walls between you and other guests, sanitation stations, distance requirements and altered procedures are in use to limit contact with others and protect you from potential virus exposure. Masks are required, and there is a limit on the number of people allowed in the park. But you know what that means? Less waiting in lines! Set up a vacation with your family to one of the best parks to visit in the area. Our staff at Information, Tickets & Tours will be able to provide all the ins and outs of planning for your trip and what to expect before you go. Information on military resorts, affordable plans, and inside tips are available through their doors or with a quick phone call.

Federal Impact Aid
Give Back To Your School
You can help give funding back to our schools through Federal Impact Aid! Public schools everywhere are in constant need of aid from their student body in terms of affording classroom assistance or supplies. When children opt out of tax-related finances due to being a part of the military, schools find it challenging to pull funding where they need it. This program aids schools outside of the base to get children the proper education they require. It finds proper funding that supports school budgets, teacher salaries, classroom equipment, programs, and more. Not only will you be helping the schools function to provide the best educational experience possible, but it comes at no cost to you! All you have to do is fill out a simple form if your child is attending school outside the gates. The process is quite simple and takes little to no time to complete. For every child entering the school system, you'll fill out a form provided by the School Liaison on Maxwell AFB. The only thing you have to fill out is the name, date of birth, address, and similar information. All of your responses are treated as confidential and will only go towards the Federal Aid. The rest is taken care of for you. Don't miss out on this chance to give back to our schools!

Welcome TO THE TEAM
Join the Force Support Squadron in welcoming our newest Superintendent, SMSgt Corey Lewis, to Maxwell Air Force Base!
SMSgt Lewis is a man of many skills, bringing with him knowledge and experience to help the FSS function at its very best. He comes from Hickam Air Force Base, where he previously worked on the PACAF Staff in the A1 Directorate, specifically as the Superintendent of the Manpower, Personnel, and Services Readiness Division. As a lead planner, he assisted in structuring and developing operational plans during crunch times or crisis action planning.
During his time here, SMSgt Lewis plans on making the Big A Airman his top priority. He believes they are the most precious resources we have, and that it's our obligation to "ensure we are taking care of them and their families." That means working to ensure our facilities are working at their best and given the resources they need. He looks forward to working with

our wing and community to lead, mentor, and guide the Air Force's future leaders.
One of his most prominent pastime activities is staying healthy through working out. He has used fitness as an outlet to help him through difficult times in his past and has become one of his biggest passions. No doubt, you'll be finding him accessing the fitness centers in his free time! If you happen to run into him, be sure to ask him about the time he was a national level bodybuilder!

BOOK YOUR TEE TIME AT CYPRESS TREE NOW! 334-953-2209
TIPS FROM THE CYPRESS TREE GOLF PRO
TIP #1: GOLF IS FOR EVERYONE “Golf is great for people who love a challenge. The game is not something you can master because there is always room for growth. Let the challenge inspire you to work harder. Golf is truly something everybody should try. Using the handicap system, people of all skill levels can play together and have a good time in a way that no other sport offers. You never know how much fun you’ll have until you give it a shot.”
TIP #2: START STRONG “It’s easier to learn a new skill than it is to fix bad habits learned from practicing the wrong way. Build a solid foundation by taking private lessons or register for group classes. I love teaching the Get Golf Ready clinics for adults and Golf 4 Kids on base. The basic skills people learn in my classes give them the confidence they need to feel comfortable playing on their own.”
TIP #3: PERFECT YOUR SWING “It is called a golf swing, not a golf hit. Beginners often try to hit the ball as far and hard as they can, sacrificing good form. The solution to improving your game is to focus on your form by swinging the golf club from start to finish, letting the golf ball get in the way. The long drive will come naturally with time.”
TIP #4: VALUE THE SHORT GAME “I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to utilize the putting greens. People new to golf generally love to hit balls on the driving range and underestimate how important it is to practice putting on a regular basis.”

officer has a soft side, or your coworker has rambunctious children bouncing off the walls at home. We deploy, we get our PCS orders, and we serve our country in the Air Force, but we don't do it alone. Our spouses are backing us the entire way, supporting our decisions and goals, and ensuring that the time we share together is spent developing lasting memories. Nick, Kaythi, and Aria Rasay are a family who has overcome the challenge of being separated by distance. They have proven that no matter how many miles separate them, they always come together as a family. MSgt Kaythi Rasay is stationed at Maxwell AFB as the 42d Force Support Squadron Readiness NCOIC;

meanwhile, her husband Nick is pursuing his education and working for Delta Air Lines in Georgia. They've been through an overseas transition to Germany where their daughter Aria was born. They've visited Paris, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, and London, experiencing cultures and making memories they will cherish forever. Nick offers one key piece of advice to all present and future spouse: who face similar challenges: communicate. Whether or not your spouse is in the same house or deployed, communication is key to a healthy relationship. It's essential that you always say "I love you" to those who matter in your life, and that you make the most of the time you share. Nick and Kaythi are in constant contact with each other during their time apart, and their reunited moments are spent exploring local attractions and raising their daughter.
