Haunted by revealing visions, he may have a chance at discovering one conflict of interest that will buy their ticket out of the ward. But memories are dangerous things. He may just make as many enemies as friends. Enemies who want his memories erased. Or worse, want him dead. When a crisis hits, sometimes the last thing we consider is how prayer and praise can help someone discover a new way of seeing and responding to challenges. MULTIPLYING DISCIPLES

Technology—The Tool to Introduce the World to Christ

Most of us love technology. Social media keeps us connected. New apps and technological advancements provide more opportunities for personal and business use. But did you ever stop to think about how technology may be the modern-day equivalent of the Roman roads during the early church growth? In this timely and ministry-boosting book, international evangelist and speaker Sammy Tippit will inspire you to embrace technology as the crossroad of man’s invention with God’s intent. Much like the Roman roads served as a tool for commerce and information, Tippit shows believers and churches how today’s technology can be a powerful ministry tool to advance the kingdom of God. Highlighting how our thought processes about technology may need to be challenged, Tippit inspires believers and ministry leaders to prayerfully consider how they can best use technology to teach the Bible to youth in Afghanistan, disciple a group in Kenya, or simply engage someone in your neighborhood. • 978-1-56309-406-4

LIFE BIBLE STUDY

WHAT IS D-LIFE?

Living the D-Life means living a lifestyle of disciple-making. Think about it. What if you could successfully equip and empower everyone in your ministry for a lifestyle of disciple-making? What if everyone embraced disciple-making as a way of life instead of a program of the church? What if believers all over the world started living out their supreme purpose in life and started making disciples just like Jesus? This would be a game changer!

TIME TO REVIVE

HOW TO USE Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ does not need to be complicated. The Time to Revive New Testament is designed to lead an individual to an understanding of the gospel by moving systematically through a series of marked verses in an actual Bible. The colored thumb tabs make sharing one’s faith simple and straightforward. It is the Holy Spirit who leads someone to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, but it is a believer’s responsibility to share this good news with others.

STEP 1: LOVE

One way we can begin a conversation with someone about Christ is to simply pray for them. Emulating the love of Christ means being sensitive to the needs of others. When we ask someone if we may pray for them, we open the conversation to a spiritual realm.

STEP 2: LISTEN When we ask someone how we can pray for them, we have an opportunity to listen to the needs of their heart. Listening shows caring, and caring leads to deeper, more meaningful responses.

STEP 3: DISCERN After praying for the individual on a personal basis, then share one of the Time to Revive wristbands. The bands are color coded and embossed with Scripture references that match the Time to Revive Bibles. Leave the band as a gift and a reminder of the prayer you prayed. If you discern that the individual is open to a deeper conversation, then share how to use the references to the verses, and ask if you can share a Bible with them.

STEP 4: RESPOND Using the Time to Revive marked Bible, simply walk a person sequentially through the colored thumb tabs: yellow - black - red blue - green. Allow them to read the highlighted verses out loud for themselves. Let the Holy Spirit lead your conversation. Explain the verses that walk through sin (yellow) - death (black) - love (red) faith (blue) - life (green). This New Testament can not only help lead someone to Christ but can also call someone to become a disciple of Christ and make disciples as well. The orange tab includes three short lessons about being “New in Christ,” “Growing in Christ,” and “Sharing Christ.” Our prayer is that this Time to Revive New Testament will be the tool that will help you do just that.
