from Easter Matters
During Jesus’s life, what He said and did on earth always had deep meaning. e people would soon understand the purposes of Jesus’s death and resurrection and how these purposes would make a di erence in who they were as His priceless children. As we begin to look beyond the surface of Jesus’s life, we will begin to understand its signi cance. Just as God’s people were being prepared for a new way of relating to Him, let us prepare our hearts to understand more clearly how priceless we are to Him.
Promise
ey shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. (Malachi 3:17)
