As an exhibitor, it’s vital your exhibitor online profile is updated so you can showcase your company and connect with customers old and new before, during and after the event. Visitors also use the printed Lookbook and Handbook to plan their visit, so it’s important to ensure your exhibitor listings are created for these too for maximum exposure.

A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE This helpful guide will walk you through the easy steps to get your business noticed.

Let’s get started. STEP 1.

EXHIBITOR MANUAL

Head over to your event website and log in to the Exhibitor Zone. Once there you’ll continue to the Exhibitor Manual. Go to Step 2 to complete your online forms and edit your listing. 1.2

COMPLETE Your 250 word company description and upload your company logo and website

Tell your story and share important details with potential customers – just by completing this step you’ll get more views to your profile and more referrals to your own website.

If at least 60% of your products are MADE OR DESIGNED IN AUSTRALIA you may also tick these boxes to include the icon on your listing.

SELECT Up to 10 company categories – you’ll be matched with similar buyers.

Click on the COMPANY tab in the top menu

Make sure your WEBSITE ADDRESS and CONTACT DETAILS are up to date

To upload your photo or logo click SELECT FILE

Click BROWSE and select your image file from the location it is saved on your computer (jpg or gif files only) and then click OPEN

PLEASE NOTE: This form will not save unless all mandatory fields marked with a red asterisk are complete. If you do not have text ready for your description fields, enter dummy text (such as TBC) and you can then come back and update later when completing your handbook listing.

STEP 4:

CREATING YOUR HANDBOOK LISTING 4.1

Click on the COMPANY tab in the top menu

Make sure your WEBSITE ADDRESS and CONTACT DETAILS are up to date

Scroll down past your Look Book listing to the HANDBOOK section of the page.

To upload your handbook images click on SELECT FILE beside TOP LEFT IMAGE

CANNOT include logos or text. Images must be product or mood shots only.

PLEASE NOTE: Handbook images

Under your website listing enter a HANDBOOK DESCRIPTION up to 400 characters (incl. spaces) to appear on your handbook page.

Repeat steps 5 & 6 for the BOTTOM LEFT AND RIGHT IMAGES as well as the LOGO.

IF YOU WISH to change the text on your handbook page from the default black to white (because it reads better on the colour box you’ve chosen) TICK THE BOX beside CHANGE TEXT COLOUR TO WHITE.

To select a colour for your text box CLICK IN THE TEXT FIELD beside BACKGROUND COLOUR

To save the selected colour CLICK on the SMALL COLOUR SYMBOL in the bottom right corner.

To close the colour picker CLICK ANYWHERE OUTSIDE the pop-up.

Leave this box unchecked if you are happy keep text black.

To view a mock-up of your handbook page click on the PREVIEW YOUR HANDBOOK PAGE LINK to the right of your handbook images (only after clicking the Save Changes button).

To save a PDF of your page click on the DOWNLOAD PDF VERSION button in the top left corner of the window.

PLEASE NOTE: Any Images not cropped/re-sized to the dimensions specified before being submitted will be cropped on your behalf at the discretion of Life Instyle. In this case the preview of your page will not be an accurate proof of the final page.

STEP 5.

PRODUCT INFORMATION This step is critical – exhibitors that take the time to upload quality product images will receive more views to their exhibitor profile and more referrals generated to their website.

IN THE EXHIBITOR ZONE Click ‘Products’ and the ‘Add Product’ begin to add your files (jpg, png, gif, max 4mb).

As part of your standard package you will receive 5 product images to upload.

UPLOAD Your 5 product images, including a name and description for each. Click ‘Expand All’ and choose 3 product categories that relate to each image.

SAVE Your 5 product images. These will also appear in our online product showroom.


STEP 6.

MARKETING DOCUMENTS Have a brand new flyer or press release you want to share? Simply visit the ‘Company’ tab at the top of the Exhibitor Zone and click ‘Documents’ to add up to 5 marketing files (jpg, pdf, max 4mb).

ADD Documents that showcase your business news.

UPLOAD Your document link descriptions and details here.

STEP 7.

GET SOCIAL Drive traffic to your social media channels and engage with customers. Once you’re in the ‘Company’ tab at the top of the page select your preferred channel from the ‘Social media’ drop down menu. With the standard package you receive 1 social media link. Please see your account manager if you’d like to upgrade for more options.

SELECT Your preferred social media channel and add your URL so visitors can connect with you.

STEP 8.

CREATE THE BUYER’S GUIDE DELEGATE PROFILES FOR ONSITE STAFF

CREATE A The Buyer’s Guide Delegate profile for staff that will be onsite.

NEW! Let visitors know in advance which staff will be onsite so they can set up appointments or send questions to the appropriate contact within your team. To make this information visible to visitors (and on your exhibitor profile) please make sure to tick the Profile & Meetings Options box at the bottom of the screen. Once completed your onsite staff can manage their own profile and event calendar.
