It has been another Members Roundup great month for County Business clubs as we reach nearly 300 members from all businesses and industries. We are delighted to announce our New Value Added partnerships with this months cover feature NWT as well as MHA Carpenter Box and the FSB.

There is lots happening with an exciting few weeks ahead as we launch our Keynote Marketing platform for our members packed with engaging webinar content on a variety of subjects as well as interviews from our members. We have also partnered with our friends at Network My Club to bring you the first ‘Virtual Business Awards Sussex’ this December. They are the awards nominated by you and an evening to celebrate and recognise achievements however big or small

from business across Sussex in 2020.

Member On The Beach?

Spotlight Secs On The Beach offers virtual business support services to SMEs UK-wide. Think of us as a business concierge - we assess and review current and future needs within businesses to enable us to create a strategy, implement our services and analyse the success. We work closely with business owners, CEOs and Heads of Departments to help them become more efficient, productive and profitable.

Our highly experienced team are on hand to help across Admin, Finance, HR, Marketing and Sales, allowing senior management and their teams to focus on their areas of expertise.

What has been your biggest business challenge to date?

Our biggest challenge to date has been trying to find a niche and decide which areas to specialise in. Each company we speak to is unique and has their own challenges and pain points and therefore no two requirements are the same.

What has been your greatest or proudest business achievement to date?

My proudest business achievement to date is actually what I am doing right now. SOTB was created back in Feb 2020 before I even knew Covid was about to hit. Our services provide a strong support to SMEs who are facing challenges, especially during these difficult times. Seeing just how much our experienced team have been able to help companies and individuals, I decided to take things one stage further and I am about to launch an automation company.

Opus-Automation offers intelligent RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to businesses UK-wide. We have a leading technical automation team ready to support the SME market, which will enable companies to be more efficient, productive and profitable. Automation is the way forward and, as a managed service, we are here to help businesses who want to embrace automation but have no idea where to start! So between SOTB and Opus-Automation we have the same outcome, however one is using people and the other is using robots!

I’m proud of how we can help businesses and I’m even more proud of the team I have around me.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that people might not know?

Some may say this is fun and some may say I’m mad…I once jumped in a cage in the Indian Ocean just a couple of metres from several circling great white sharks. It was an exciting but surreal moment!
