Looking at plants using the Goethean Scientific Methodology can give one an insight into their “meaning”, their role in the landscape and their healing properties within human beings and animals. At the same time the study will help to develop perceptive faculties within the student of nature. In this course we will be exploring the living relationship between plants and people in Pishwanton’s landscape, find healing properties of the plants and learn how to process them to create simple medicines. With Margaret Colquhoun co-founder of the Pishwanton Project where she teaches Goethean Sceince and Maureen Robertson a founder with her husband Keith of the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine now running as Drimlabarra Herb Farm on Arran.
