Fundraising Ideas
7 ways to fundraise $100 in 7 days:
❋❋
Why not create your own fundraising campaign! This will help encourage your team to fundraise at work, at playgroup and with friends in a few simple ways. We would like to inspire you with a few ideas and show just how easy and fun it can be to raise $100. Perhaps set challenges for your team to see who can raise the most individually in a single week.
1
Cupcakes – Bake some sweet treats and take them to work or school and sell them for $2 each.
2
The winner gets to keep the lolly jar (what a sweet prize!)
3
Casual Dress Day – organise a casual dress day at work or school and ask each person to donate $2.
4
Ask for sponsors – Why not ask family or friends to sponsor your walk or run!
Lolly Jar – Get people to guess how many lollies in the jar.

5
Orange marigold plants - Plant 12 used yogurt containers with marigold seeds. Sell them to your friends and family for $2 each. A great way to get the kids involved!
6 7
Ask one person to donate the loose coins in their pocket.
Car wash – Ask your friends and family to donate for you to wash their car.

Make your team stand out and design your own t-shirts. This is a fantastic way to get the whole family and friends involved. Encourage everyone to get creative with what they are wearing - even the kids! • Why not get everyone involved for a painting afternoon. Let the kids design your t-shirts with their own finger and footprint designs! Look for acrylic paint, puff paint, stencils, crayons, textas and stickers to create your special drawings. • Customise your t-shirt by getting your prem’s photo
on your t-shirt and show us who you are walking for. • Get creative! Glitter, ribbons, stamps, buttons, fabric, sequins to make your t-shirt stand out. • Sew on cut out shapes or your team’s name. For more ideas have a look at our pinterest page pinterest.com/walkforprems
Share your ideas with your team and encourage everyone to share their creative designs on social media tagging Life’s Little Treasures.

Get social
❤ ❤
❤ ❤
Fundraising doesn’t have to be a solo experience! The more social you make it, the more fun it can be and it provides a great chance for you to talk to people about why Walk for Prems is important to you. You could host a Walk for Prems Morning or afternoon tea and ask colleagues, schoolmates or friends to come along and enjoy some treats for a donation. Orange icing, feet shaped cookies, orange tablecloths and napkins can all add to the Walk for Prems theme of your morning tea and make it something memorable for your guests!

share your prem story! Share your story As a team leader for Walk for Prems 2014, you have probably in some way been affected by prematurity and can relate to what the foundation aims to achieve. This important event allows us to fundraise so that we can provide support and services to families of premature children. Sharing your story and encouraging your team to share their story will help raise awareness, help other families receive more support and celebrate premature babies.
Key questions: 1.Who are you walking for? 2.Why are you walking this year? 3. How has prematurity affected you? You could: • Create a Facebook/email or get together with your team where you can share your stories and memories of your premmies. You could also share fundraising ideas and tips with your team on such forums. • Share your story with us on social media. We would love to repost it and enhance awareness.
