HAPPY FEBRUARY – ESTERO!! Here we are again, in the middle of our high season. Everyone seems to have returned from up north to recapture their part of ‘paradise’! Philanthropic opportunities, festivals, shows, fundraisers, beaches, golf courses and tennis courts…what more could we want? Don’t forget the winter sports in our area. The Everblades and FGCU Men’s and Women’s basketball are in the heart of their seasons. Even the Spring Training seasons for the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox are starting this month, about 10 days earlier than usual. The needs within our community continue to be as numerous as ever and so are the opportunities to give back to those who are less fortunate. In this issue, read about how Interfaith Charities of SW Florida (formerly Interfaith Caregivers) will celebrate 20 years of helping the needy of South Lee County with their Annual Dinner and Dessert Auction. I hope to see you there! We would like to introduce you to a new, growing local business, Greenway Landscaping Supply. Owners Jim and Amy Ridinger may be able to help you brighten up your home landscaping. Over the last few months we have all endured various stressful events that have affected each of us, beginning with the election, to the tragedy in Newtown, to the ‘fiscal cliff’ and more. Therefore, we decided to strike a more whimsical tone in some of our

stories. In honor of Valentine’s Day, this month’s cover story focuses on four couples in our area as they share how they met along with some of their secrets to decades of undying love. On the dining scene, for those of you looking to take your sweetheart out for a special Valentine’s dinner, we are highlighting the Top 10 appetizers, entrees and desserts from the restaurants we visited this past year. Best of luck in finding that perfect, romantic evening out! Many of you are already keeping in contact with us thru Facebook, and I can now invite you to enjoy our new website, www.esterolifestylemag. com. You can now enjoy Estero Lifestyle Magazine on-the-go on all of your mobile devices including: I-phone, I-pad and android phone or

tablet. You can more easily share your thoughts, suggestions and story ideas. In addition, there are now new digital marketing opportunities available to the many business owners who enjoy the magazine each month. Log on, enjoy and share the ‘Lifestyle’ with your friends, family and associates. Finally, I wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. I hope you find and enjoy the love we all need and you are able to share the day with someone special and celebrate in your own way. Love is a special emotion that enables us to feel complete. May it fill the air, not only this month, but throughout the year! So until next month, Enjoy the Lifestyle!

When to Work Out Getting in shape is easier when you do it on a schedule BY DAVID SHERMAN

Being a personal fitness trainer for 15 years has taught me one thing about people: They really don’t want to work out. So whenever someone wants to exercise, regardless of he time of day, I encourage it. But in my experience, there are better times of the day to lace up those crosstrainers than others.

we feel better physically and mentally – and next we are hungry from the workout.

I firmly believe that that body is trainable and will adapt if you give six weeks in a new regime. The same also applies for the way that we eat.

NIGHTS Nighttime is crucial to keeping the eating habits under control. A lot of us are night owls and go to bed too late after sitting around the house picking on the wrong food for a variety of reasons. Well, because we got up an hour earlier and exercised, we’re now going to crash earlier and avoid that extra hour of possible nighttime emotional eating.

If you intend to completely change the way you look and feel, it comes at the price of a commitment! That may mean getting up an hour earlier each morning or sacrificing something else that you would have rather done for working out. It means ordering the fruit for dessert over the chocolate decadence. Remember nothing tastes as good as being in shape feels! MORNING Let’s assume the morning workout is a possibility for you. I’ve had many clients who trained before sunrise… just saying. The first feeling we want to start our day? Gpod energy and circulation. How many times have you woken up feeling like you were in a car accident? That lack of circulation causes inflammation. The cure is increasing blood flow through exercise. So now we have worked out,

20

FEBRUARY 2013 | LIFESTYLEMAGAZINEGROUP.COM

What does hunger mean? It means our metabolism is jump-started and the fat-burning is underway. We have a clear head and we feel great about ourselves. Time to eat. We’re more likely to make a good choice because we feel good and don’t want to ruin that feeling. Then one good choice turns into another – and then we end up having a good day.

Working out at night isn’t bad but just keep in mind that we usually get really hungry after workouts and now you are getting into those later hours where we want to cut down on our calories. Also, a good workout will sometimes give you a blast of energy that could keep you up later than you want. I have been known to clean my whole house after a good workout. Tomorrow we start it all over again. Remember it takes 4- 6 weeks to change and develop a new and positive habit, give yourself that time. Please feel free to contact me at GPSLifeStyle@hotmail.com at 954-649-3283.

Do you know that over 60% of the visitors to Alaska each year, do so on a cruise ship? It’s certainly the easiest way to see this vast wonderland, however, it truly only is the tip of the iceberg. At SitInMySeats VIP Tickets, Travel & Concierge Services, the travel specialists are known for tailoring and customizing unique and unforgettable experiences to destinations worldwide. Alaska is no exception. So many people have already experienced cruising and are looking for ways to push their expectations when they finally plan their vacation. “We’re seeing a growing trend in our discerning clients wanting more from their destinations, more from their experiences and certainly, more from our team as we create and personalize each vacation” says Laura Hildenbrandt, Director of Travel. Recently, the team at SitInMySeats created a journey for a family looking to experience the true Alaska. The clients wanted a “grand journey” and wanted to take in as much of the landscape and

culture as they could in a period of 12 days. The result was an awe-inspiring trek that allowed the clients to take in the natural beauty, search for Alaska’s famed wildlife and learn the stories behind the sights as they traveled through some of the state’s most stunning wilderness. They visited Chugach National Forest, Kenai Fjords National Park, Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and Denali National Park. The wildlife experience was beyond their expectations. During this adventure, they saw marine wildlife such as sea otters, puffins, harbor seals, Steller sea lions and whales in Kenai Fjords National Park as they coasted past glaciers on their canoes. They saw countless animals throughout the journey, including caribou, moose, Dall sheep and grizzly bears. SitInMySeats also customized an amazing “flightseeing” trip of Mt. McKinley that the clients said there are “no words to describe”! Throughout this journey, SitInMySeats made sure that their transportation and accommodations were nothing short of luxurious, having their guests stay at amazing places such as Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge, Caribou Lodge and Tutka Bay Lodge. A trip to Alaska can be done so many different ways but the end result will stay the same.....a vacation and experience that will live on in your dreams and memories forever. For more information on Alaska or any other travel destination, please contact SitInMySeats VIP Tickets, Travel & Concierge Services at 954-456-0419/ 866-798-7328 or email Lisa Crawford at lisa@sitinmyseats.com.

LASTING LOVE

joe & joni

By Laura J. Cummings

28

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked some of Estero’s most enduring lovebirds to share their stories of falling in love – and their secrets to maintaining ardor for one another through decades of marriage. Enjoy their tales of accidental dates, weathering tough times, and finding humor through life’s journey together. Joe and Joni Pavich will be celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. They raised two boys while building a successful real estate business in Estero. Both sons, Joe, Jr., and Jason, are now Realtors in the family business. Joe Sr. and Joni consider their sons’ wives as their “daughters-in-love” and have been blessed with five grandchildren. “Our lives revolve around our family,” Joni says. “They are our greatest gifts of all!”

HOW THEY MET Two Chicago girlfriends from high school reunite: one has a daughter, one has a son... Joni: Our moms were friends during their high school years. We went to a wedding with our parents and met there. Joe: Joni chased me all night long! ...OK, Joni’s version is the “truth.” I was only 13 years old, and boys had cooties! Joni: The cooties very quickly disappeared when we started dating two years later.

FAST DATES Joni: Joe’s need for speed started at a young age. Our first date – January 11, 1969 – involved us in a drag race. I wasn’t even allowed in a car with a boy! The more he tried to impress me, the more scared I became. Two weeks later, we were going steady and still are! We were married on June 9, 1973. Over 500 guests attended, and our traditional Croatian/Italian wedding lasted for two days. We proceeded on our honeymoon to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. We were too young to gamble, so we walked around the casinos. But, in the end, we were lucky in love!

SECRET TO MARITAL BLISS Joe: We’ve been married 40 years in June, and we’ve never had a fight...that I’ve won!

FEBRUARY 2013 | LIFESTYLEMAGAZINEGROUP.COM

Sean James is a retired executive and an Estero Fire Commissioner. He and his wife, Catherine, made multiple moves while raising two boys, before retiring to Florida in 2003. One of their sons recently told them he knew no other couple married as long as his parents who were still as much in love as they are. This they consider the ultimate compliment.

HOW THEY MET Sean: We were both born in Ireland and emigrated to New York City within six months of each other. We met at a dance. Our lives were very hectic. I was attending college full time and working a full-time plus a part-time job. Catherine was also attending school and working. Our dates usually started with attendance at a 2:30 a.m. Mass after I finished my part -time job. Mass was followed by breakfast at an all-night restaurant, and this was often followed by long talks, often sitting on the curb until sunrise, discussing life, family, values and faith.

DATE NIGHT Catherine: Early in our marriage, I established Friday night as “Date Night.” This might include eating out, a movie or a show, but more frequently, it simply involved setting up the end of the dining room table, lighting the candles, having a simple dinner and spending three or four hours just being together. Sean: We really enjoy doing things together, whether it be projects around the home, playing tennis or golf, or traveling. We particularly like road trips together, since there are no interruptions on our time. We also work together on a number of church outreach ministries.

WHY THE MARRIAGE HAS LASTED Both: We operated as partners in trying to establish some level of harmony between family life and the ever increasing demands of corporate life. We firmly believe our faith and shared values have sustained us through difficult times.

Wilson Bradshaw is President of Florida Gulf Coast University, while Jo Anna is Chairperson of the Harry Chapin Food Bank Board of Directors. They raised three sons and have one grandson, plus four cats (three of which are female, to make up for all the boys in the family). They celebrated two decades of marriage on Sept. 9, 2012.

HOW THEY MET Jo Anna: We met on the Tri-Rail train on the east coast of Florida in 1990. Brad rode it from Miami to Boca Raton, and I took it from Pompano Beach to Boca Raton. He was a dean at FAU, and I was a VP at a local bank. We actually didn’t date but only saw each other on the train five days a week – for two years. Brad moved to Georgia to become vice president for research and dean of graduate studies at Georgia Southern University. He came back for the inauguration of the new president at FAU, and we went to dinner that night. Other friends from “the train” were supposed to join us but didn’t. Brad: In retrospect, obvious set-up. Jo Anna: I guess that was the first date, though not planned.

LAUGHTER, THE BEST MEDICINE Jo Anna: Brad thinks he’s witty, but I think he’s corny. Brad: I know I love to laugh and make others laugh as well. Jo Anna: He has a great sense of humor and is quick with the one-liners. The most humorous moments are when he tells a joke and can’t stop laughing at it while he’s telling it. The joke isn’t as funny as his laugh, and you can’t help but be drawn into laughter as well.

WHY OUR MARRIAGE WORKS Jo Anna: Brad is a very kind and giving person, and he supports me in my role as a community volunteer in helping those experiencing food insecurity. I can’t imagine our marriage would work if he didn’t have a good sense of humor and a whole lot of patience. Brad: Jo Anna is a driven, independent, passionate and giving person. Over the years, we have come to know each other, and we continue that process. I am looking so much forward to the rest of lives together. Love conquers all. Don Newberry was born and raised in Estero and met his future wife when he was just 9 years old. They raised five children together and now have 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, with another on the way.

HOW THEY MET Don: The first time I met her, she was 16 and married. My brother and her first husband were friends. My brother went to work on their car, and I went with him. She comes bouncing out of the house wearing a red sweater and green slacks, with long, blonde hair all the way down her back. At 9 years old, I had never thought of a girl being beautiful before. But ever since then, when I thought in my mind what an angel would look like, she would always come to mind.

MAKING A FAMILY Over the next decade, Sis had four children and Don got married, having one son. They both divorced, reconnecting when Don’s brother asked him to help Sis move back to Estero. After that, Don frequently would see Sis when he picked up his son after work from his sister-in-law, who was friends with Sis. One day, Don and Sis started talking about movies and decided to see “Jaws” together. Shortly thereafter, Sis was out teaching her daughter to drive, when they spotted Don working in his yard on See See Street. It was his birthday, and Sis’ daughter asked if she could bring a cake over later that evening. Don: Best cake I ever had in my life. Her kids got along so well with mine. Our dating most of the time included the kids. Sis: I wasn’t looking, but I’m sure glad I found him. I didn’t want to get married. He kept telling me, “I’m in love with you, and I want to make a family.”

STAYING CLOSE On Christmas Eve 2011, Sis suffered a heart attack. A month later, she had a second heart attack, requiring surgery and a lengthy hospital stay. Don slept beside her bed in a recliner. When a nurse asked why he didn’t use the mercy bed on the other side of the room, he replied, “It’s too far away.” Sis: It’s a matter of just wanting to be with that person. We had to work together to survive with five kids. We had nothing except each other. We’re very blessed. Don: We have our disagreements, but when we do, we can work them out. I just feel we’re soul mates.

Interfaith Charities Of South Lee: Annual Dinner & Dessert Auction BY LAURA J. CUMMINGS

NBC2 Senior Meteorologist Robert Van Winkle will be the celebrity auctioneer for this year’s dessert auction at the Interfaith Charities of South Lee Annual Dinner on Saturday, March 2. The evening also includes a silent auction and chance drawings, along with a bountiful dinner catered by chef extraordinaire Art Nicoletti. “Chef Art Nicoletti returns again, by popular demand, to work his magic using food items donated by generous local merchants, such as Hyatt Coconut Point’s marinara sauce, shrimp donated by Blue Star Seafood and chicken donated by Costco,” says ICSL board member Bonnie Olson. The event at Lamb of God Vineyard not only raises funds for the food pantry, it also highlights the many other services provided by ICSL. This year, the celebration also commemorates the charity’s 20th anniversary serving the poor in South Lee County. Those involved with ICSL have always considered themselves neighbors helping neighbors. Started by the San CarlosEstero Ministerial Association in 1992, the small food pantry has grown into a full community service organization, helping nearly 4,000 people in the last year. “It’s been a growth process, and a successful one,” says Rev. Ray Jackson, one of the organization’s “founding fathers,” as

he recalled the small food pantry originally established at Estero United Methodist Church. Each month, ICSL provides food to about 600 local families. Other services include food stamp registration, Meals on Wheels deliveries, volunteer income tax assistance (VITA), financial crisis assistance and free summer lunches for kids. As a United Way House, ICSL invites partner agencies to use its facility to offer a variety of services, including language and literacy classes, abuse counseling and treatment and money management classes to help clients become fiscally responsible. While the organization’s founders were people of faith, many businesses, community associations and service organizations now partner with ICSL to assist local families and individuals in need. Each week, local supermarkets and restaurants donate food, which volunteers pick up, sort and distribute. A fleet of about 200 volunteers logged a record 13,800 hours of service in 2011. Combined with multiple food drives throughout the year, nearly 400,000 pounds of food was donated, according to ICSL’s annual report released in November 2012. “We really appreciate all the support we get,” says Executive Director Nancy Martin. Van Winkle will lend his support to the annual dinner next month, replacing Len Jennings as the event emcee and dessert auctioneer. Desserts are donated by local merchants, groups and individuals. In the past, gourmet goodies have sold for hundreds of dollars, all supporting the mission of ICSL. The annual dinner has sold out quickly in the past two years, so Olson recommends ordering tickets early. She’s also seeking corporate sponsorships and table sponsors who wish to be represented at this popular fundraising gala. A GROWING BUSINESS

ABOUT JIM AND AMY How long have you been in the landscaping business? I have been in the business for 29 years. I worked for a landscaper through middle school and high school whenever I had spare time between school, football and working at my father’s Mobil gas station. After graduating high school, I began asking all my father’s customers if they needed someone to plow their driveways in the winter. Soon I had 75 contracts. I then asked if they would be interested in me taking care of their yards. It all happened so fast, and before I knew it, I needed a secretary and a phone! I used the gas station number, had a live secretary from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. six days a week, and presto...Mobile Lawn Care was born. I sold the company after 20 years, and in 2004, my wife and I, along with our three children, decided Southwest Florida was the place for us. I haven’t looked back since. We opened Greenway Landscape Supply and now have over 30 employees, 17 vehicles on the road daily and two full time truck drivers doing daily pickups and deliveries.

FEBRUARY 2013 | LIFESTYLEMAGAZINEGROUP.COM

What do you like best about living and working in Southwest Florida? No More Snow Plowing! We love growing a family business that is becoming more and more of a “household name.” We love working with people, and every day is a new adventure. Most of our clients come from the up North, and when they come down for season, they want tropical, to forget the cold winter and remind themselves why they love it in Southwest Florida. What are your interests outside of landscaping? We are involved in football and volleyball organizations for our three children. Jim coaches football at First Baptist Church in Naples, and Amy is the Director’s Assistant of the Naples Juniors Volleyball travel league. What is the best part of your job? Greenway Landscape Supply We are from Cleveland, Ohio, where the sun doesn’t shine often. Here, it’s sunny and warm 20190 S. Tamiami Trail, Estero almost everyday. Meeting and exceeding a client’s expectations at their winter home Owners: Jim and Amy Ridinger is awesome. The best part of our job is the relationships we build along the way.

BEST TIPS FOR IMPROVING YOUR LANDSCAPE What are the biggest landscaping challenges in our climate? Just knowing what to plant where. There are many variables of sun/shade and watering requirements. There is a great variety of plant and tree material here in Florida. What are your best-selling plants and trees? One large item I feel is missing from the Southwest Florida Landscape is color. Our staff does a great job with this. We sell and install many crotons, goldmounds and Red Hot Hibiscus. The most popular-selling landscape material in our nursery are bougainvilleas. No one can walk by one without wanting to buy it because of the beautiful flowers. Palm trees are our top-selling tree.

BEST OF ESTERO DINING BY LAURA J. GATES

As you consider where to take your sweetheart for a special Valentine’s dinner, we would like to highlight the best of what our local chefs have to offer. We at Estero Lifestyle Magazine have enjoyed some amazing culinary delights during the last year. Here is our Top 10 list of appetizers, entrees and desserts from the restaurants we visited in 2012.

Big Hickory Seafood Grille 26107 Hickory Blvd., Bonita Springs

Not to miss: New England Clam Chowder and Calypso Lobster Salad Topped with bacon and chives, this creamy soup is hearty and comforting with its smooth, rich flavor that rivals any chowder served in the Northeastern states. Try it with the Lobster Salad, featuring amply sized chunks of meat and a tomato crown with wafer “claws” to give the illusion of a lobster’s shape.

Bistro 41 13499 S. Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers

Not to miss: Pork Pot Roast Bistro 41 manages to make this comfort food sophisticated. Braised in port wine and well-seasoned, the Good Nature pork roast is served atop roasted garlic mashed potatoes with a stack of caramelized onions swirled on top. The dish is finished with savory gravy and beurre monté and served with broccolini. It’s a local favorite.

Blue Water Bistro 23151 Village Shops Way, Estero

Not to miss: Not to miss: Crab Cake and The Ultimate Starters can be a meal here. The giant crab patty is make from three types of crab, along with chunks of lobster, and served atop a creamy Palm Island remoulade. With a ring of green and red olive oils at the plate’s edge and more crabmeat piled on top, this crab cake is a beauty. Pair it with The Ultimate, a seafood feast of chilled king crab, snow crab, shrimp cocktail, oyster, clams and mussels for two.

Cirella’s Italian Bistro & Sushi Bar 25265 Chamber of Commerce Drive, Bonita Springs

Not to miss: Sushi and Sashimi Boat The restaurant’s most dramatic dish, this impressive, wooden boat spans the entire length of a small dining table and is filled with 40 pieces of sashimi and 24 pieces of sushi, along with a California roll, JB Roll, rainbow roll, tuna roll and tuna tataki or seafood salad.

Figs Grille 25987 S. Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs

Not to miss: Tagine Tagine is a traditional North African dish served in an earthenware pot with a towering, cone-shaped top designed to infuse moisture back into the dish as it cooks. Executive Chef Sam Tadros’ own spice blend includes fourteen different herbs. The Lamb Tagine is melt-in-yourmouth tender.

Connors Steak & Seafood 10076 Gulf Center Drive, Fort Myers

Not to miss: Boursin Filet and Strawberry Shortcake The nine-ounce filet is a tantalizingly plump filet of beef topped with Boursin cheese and a stack of “tobacco onions” – red onions dipped in seasoned buttermilk and deep-fried. This is one tall dish of melt-in-your mouth perfection. Leave room for the house specialty strawberry shortcake. This giant slice of sweet cake is served warm and generously topped with Conners’ homemade vanilla bean ice cream and a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Simply heavenly! La Fontanella Ristorante 24600 Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs

Not to miss: Cannoli Sweet and creamy, this fabulous dessert is filled with homemade cream and chocolate chips and garnished with pistachio nuts. Other fabulous desserts include the Crème Brûlée and the Rice Pudding with white raisins and macadamia nuts.

Seasons 52 8930 Tamiami Trail N., Naples

Not to miss: Mini Indulgences These mini-desserts are all under 475 calories (as is everything on the menu at Seasons 52). Served in shot-sized glasses for $2.50 apiece, these small dishes of sweetness are the perfect way to cap off a meal. Indulgences change seasonally. Try the Belgian Chocolate Rocky Road, decadently loaded with four kinds of chocolate.

Manhattan Steakhouse 24940 S. Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs

Not to miss: Porterhouse for Two The porterhouse features filet mignon and New York strip served sizzling from the T-bone with natural juices for dipping. Charred on the outside with a soft, pink center, this steak could be cut with a butter knife. It’s perfect paired with the Special German Potatoes, sauteed golden brown with onions and baked for a splendid crunch.

Tarpon Bay 5001 Coconut Road, Estero

Not to miss: Ceviche and Raw Bar Paired with flavorful chiles and fresh herbs, each of Tarpon Bay’s eight ceviche dishes is bursting with flavor. These raw seafood delights are “cooked” while marinating in citrus juice. Try the Asian Salmon with Thai chili sauce and almonds. The raw bar also includes a selection of the freshest oysters and clams on the half shell.

Have a favorite dish from a local restaurant? We’d love to try it out and feature more culinary delights in an upcoming edition of Estero Lifestyle Magazine. 38

and another thing

Selling The Dream Being specific can be anticlimactic BY BRUCE TURKEL

My father was an innovative and LEONARD TURKEL | 1930-2011 very successful real estate developer. The Miami Herald called him “The Father of Florida Condominiums” because he built the first residential condo in the United States – and the first office condo in the world. As a kid, I used to walk from my elementary school to his construction projects. Sometimes my dad would walk me through the job site and show me where the elevators were going, how the stairs would be MIAMI NEWS FILE, 1965 installed, and where the apartments BEACH RESIDENT: A 1965 story and photo in the Miami News were. crowned Leonard Turkel the father of Florida Condominiums.’ He’d also tell me about the construction business: How you Regardless of who the customer was and what they made your money not when you sold your building but when you bought the property.... wanted, it was always easier to “sell the dream.” How the key to building a great building profitably Because the reality never quite measured up to was compromising on everything except design their fantasies. Now think about your brand strategy. Are and architecture.... And why he always wanted to sell his condo apartments as early as possible in the you promoting the intellectual, metrics-based advantages of your brand? Or have you figured out project’s lifespan. Even as a kid, I thought I understood the reason how to sell the dream? Want some examples to figure out where you for selling the project early was to get as much money as you could as quickly as possible. But my stand? Microsoft sells computing; Apple sells the dad had a different rationale. Quite simply, he said dream. Checkers sells fast food; McDonald’s sells the dream. Sears sells inexpensive clothing and he always preferred to “sell the dream.” As my dad explained it, his best opportunity to household items; Target sells the dream. Selling the dream means you can concentrate sell an apartment for the highest price was to walk his potential buyer through a construction site and your brand messaging on the things that get people show them where they’d live, how close they’d excited. It means you can build a resilient message be to shopping, the tennis courts, and the beach. that will survive trends and fads. And it usually Where they’d park and where their grandchildren means you can charge – and get – a higher price for your products and services. Just like Apple, would sleep when they stayed over. But once the apartment was complete, the McDonald’s, Target… and my father. Thanks, Dad. conversations would become more prosaic. One Bruce is a branding expert who makes his couple wanted harvest gold shag carpeting. The next buyer hated gold. One couple wanted a tile clients’ brand experiences more valuable. He’s worked with great organizations kitchen. The next wanted butcher block. Some people wanted bathtubs. Some people wanted including Discovery Channel, Baptist Health, showers because they couldn’t step over the MetCare, and Miami. He’s spoken at MIT, Harvard, and hundreds of conferences. He’s bathtub rim. So what’s an easier sell? Painting the picture been on NPR and CNN and featured in The of where they’re going to tuck in their adorable New York Times and Fast Company Magazine. grandchildren? Or debating the value proposition He has published three books on advertising of Corian or Formica countertops? When put in including Building Brand Value. You can reach Bruce at bturkel@turkel.info LP those simple terms, the advantages become clear.
