WHATAREMYMAINRESPONSIBILITIES ASACOMMUNITYCONNECTOR?
As a Community Connector, we ask you to invite 10 guests who would be passionate about our mission to a "Learning about LifeWorks" presentation or tour. You will also have the option to give the opening orclosingremarksattheevent.
WHATSHOULDGUESTSEXPECT?
Guests will learn about youth homelessness in Austin, hear client stories, and learn about LifeWorks services. There will be a Q&A session with LifeWorks staff. Note: There is no monetary ask during or after the presentation.
WHERECANIHOSTTHEEVENT?
Most Community Connectors host at their homes, but we can also accommodate events at community centers, restaurants, or even our LifeWorks East site if a tour is desired. Additionally, we offer virtual events through Zoom, where we mail materials in advance to ensure guests get the full experience.
