Mission Statement Harton Regional Medical Center is a 137-bed acute care facility that annually provides care to over 5,500 inpatients of all ages. We currently care for over 21,000 emergencies and operate outpatient areas that care for over 60,000 people each year. The hospital serves as the principal and most comprehensive general acute care hospital in Coffee County and is the regional referral center for Moore, Bedford and Franklin counties of Tennessee. As a major employer, the facility is a significant contributor to the economic and social vitality of its community. The governance of this system is by a Board of Trustees who provide their services on behalf of the community. The MISSION of Harton Regional Medical Center is to provide the highest quality service to our patients, physicians and the communities we serve in a safe, compassionate and efficient manner. HRMC in recognition of its mission, will strive to: •

be the preferred provider of healthcare services needed by the community;

•

develop a system of health care services in partnership with the hospital's medical staff, employees, volunteers and the community, in order to provide the most appropriate level of care to the greatest number of people in need;

•

maintain an environment which promotes satisfaction and opportunity for the employee, the physician, and the patient;

•

maintain the hospital's financial ability to support quality health care at reasonable cost, in accordance with community needs and regulatory authority;

demonstrate by actions and results the commitment to continuous performance improvement;
