SUNDAY ministries Child Care and Sunday school are available during all worship services for children, birth kindergarten. For children in 1st - 4th grade, W.O.W. (Worship Our Way) is offered during the Saturday night worship service; Jubilation Station, a large group / small group format, is offered at 9:15 a.m. at the West Campus; and Faith Station, a traditional Sunday school format, is available at the 10:45 a.m. services at both East and West Campuses. ADVENTURE CLUB is our midweek program for children in 1st - 4th grades, and meets at the West Campus on Wednesday evenings from 6-8:30. Adventure Land (for 4’s, 5’s & K’s) and Child Care (for 3’s and under) is provided for children whose parents are in any ministry that evening. Contact csarros@fbcg.com.

TREK (9th-12th Graders) The TREK Winter Retreat is this weekend and will return tonight to the East Campus at 11 p.m. TREK Sunday Morning meets at the 10:45 hour in the Student Ministry Center at the East Campus and will be meeting today. ALCs & More Sola Scriptura Pastor Jeff Frazier will continue in our study through the book of Romans at Sola Scriptura on Sunday, January 27 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the East Campus Student Center. The purpose of “Sola Scriptura” at FBCG is simply to help God’s people know God’s Word. Bring your Bible and an open heart to hear from God’s Word! What’s life all about? Why are we here? Christianity Explored is a free 7-week class that offers a safe place for you to explore
and ask questions about who Jesus is and why it matters. Led by Keith Duncan, the class meets on Sunday nights from February 10 – March 24, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in West Campus Room 103. Missionary of the Week: Josh and Allie Johnson, Campus Crusade, University of Illinois; Pray for continued developement of Christian character in those being discipled by Josh and Allie. Pray for Josh and Allie as they may be moved to one of the state universities in Arizona. They are currently at the U of I in Champaign. If transferred they will have to sell their home. Collecting coats for kids Jack Farrell of FBCG and Boy Scout Troop 36 is working to earn his Eagle Scout Badge by collecting children’s winter gear (coats, hats gloves) for toddlers to teens. He and his fellow scouts will be collecting at both campuses in the marked bins throughout the month of January. DONORs 70.5 years or older With the passage of the “fiscal cliff ” legislation, the IRA Charitable Rollover has been extended to 2012 and 2013; so, you are once again eligible to move up to $100,000 from your IRAs directly to qualified charities without having to pay income taxes on the money. Giving Envelopes Beginning this year we will be mailing giving envelopes to your home every two months. If you have not received any but would like to in the future, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby where you can also pick up some generic giving envelopes to use until the next mailing arrives.
