Note Complete documentary file of Collection Schwind II-Arte povera, an exhibition of 20 arte povera appropriations. The exhibition took place at Galerie Fitzroy in Brussels in 1971 and was not accessible for the public. The works were photographed and described, and destroyed afterwards. – To document his appropriations Schwind systematically used filing cards of the Belgian Royal Institute for the Artistic Patrimony. – During the preparations of the exhibition Triënnale 3, Bruges 1974, the curators addressed a letter to the Institute asking if they would object to the 'improper use' by an artist of their official filing cards.
