The 18th century symmetrical French Garden of Castle Montfort in the Netherlands, province of Limburg, was re-built in 2015. Foundation “Het Limburgs Landschap” made sure to make it visible again. A place where people experience history and enjoy the views of the estate. The Castle Montfort is from the year 1260 and has been centuries-long one of the largest castles of the Netherlands. LIGMAN COLUMBUS Bollard, UCO-10127 dome top 3000 Kelvin illuminates the pedestrian area and has make architectural symmetry visible.

The National War Memorial near New Delhi India is spread over 40 acres. Recently inaugurated by the Indian Prime Minister, it observes those lost in wars dating back to the 1940s. WeBe Design Lab Architects won the competition in 2017 held for the design of the Memorial and the contractor Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd, India was appointed soon after. LIGMAN were honoured to have been asked to provide the lighting for most the memorial, working with the Lighting Designer: AWA Lighting Designers. This included 560 RADO recessed fixtures, over 200 MIC projectors and 30 JET wall fixtures

On July 20th, 2019 in Illertissen, Germany, after a year of construction the Sparkassen Arena DAV Climbing Center opened. This international competition level climbing structure is around 65 ft in height and has over 90 climbing routes on 8,611 square feet of climbing surface. LIGMAN Germany delivered the entire lighting solution that met a specific and challenging client brief: A solution ensuring the structure meets World Cup level requirements of 30 footcandles with high uniformity and no glare for either the climbers or belayer whom control the ropes and no mounting of fixtures allowed anywhere on the wall surfaces or the surface under the crown canopy. Using 3D light calculation software, LIGMAN designed a installation with optimum positions, aiming angles and glare-shields using a system of ODESSA projectors and accessories in clusters on tailored columns around the structure. This system laterally illuminating the precisely calculated angled climbing surfaces and downward-aiming and crossing beams to minimize the shadows cast by the climbers themselves.Supporting these clusters are a series of additional ODESSA spotlights mounted on the extremities of the crown canopy to cover the top of the structure with angled downlighting, which again minimizes any shadow issues for climbers at the final stages of their ascents. The project was comprised of 63 ODESSA floodlights, clusters of 6 or 8 floodlights on 6 custom poles and an additional 19 ODESSA floodlights mounted around the crown canopy, with the addition of the LIGMAN VEKTER illuminating the new clubhouse. The whole system is operated and adjustable via a custom DALI project lighting control system to allow the users to switch between leisure/training climbing, club level and international competition lighting levels, with the crown fixtures remaining on at 30% beyond climbing hours to provide some low-level ambient lighting for the park site. The stunning project’s opening day saw a number of elite climbers, including a current Junior European Champion amongst the first of those to climb the wall, with the next European Championship due to be held at the venue this Autumn

A new experience is now open in the stunning Skyline Queenstown on New Zealand’s South Island. LIGMAN together with IMPRESSIONS LIGHTING, working with Powell Fenwick Consultants in Christchurch. 306 ZAAB-1 spotlights fitted with anti-glare visors and carefully angled, a third of which fitted with colored dichroic filters, have been installed along the runs with the aid of 3.4 miles of cabling. The project has been more than a year in the making and will transform Skyline Queenstown’s evening operations. Skyline Queenstown general manager Wayne Rose notes “Working closely with Queenstown Lakes District Council, we’ve taken every step to make sure this experience blends in with our environment. The shrouded Dark Sky-compliant light fittings are designed to direct maximum light to the tracks, while ensuring minimal light pollution to the surrounding area.” The Night Luge is open year-round and will run from dusk until 8pm daily.

TECHMED CENTRE UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE URBAN GLIMP Netherlands, one of LIGMANs valued global distributer partners, recently completed the TechMed Centre project at the University of Twente. The TechMed Centre is beautiful renovation of the University’s former ‘Technohal’ and provides new students facilities for their Honours programme, housing the Honours Office, study association, Ockham, MRI-Centre and extra meeting spaces. The design provides a more visible and

approachable environment for students and its central location offers an O&O square and DesignLab close by at campus and also houses quarterly events where more than a hundred students come together. Working closely with the Royal BAM Group nv and Efftink Construction B.V , the Project solution comprised of over 100 Indoor NYBRO linear fixtures in communal and washroom areas plus custom galvanised steel-suspended
exterior LIGHTALK luminaires undertaken through the LIGMAN Tailor-Made service. Also within the project site are our recessed LIGHTALK fixtures used to illuminate the University sign, an installation designed through Illuments and Lightbusters.

FYI Center is a new generation office building located in Bangkok. The LIGHT LINEAR PT ULI-21172-W30 Area Luminaire was used to subtly illuminate the main entrance landscape, parking area, and pedestrian areas, while adding aesthetic value to the overall landscape design and architecture.

LAGUARDIA AIRPORT WORKPLACE
LaGuardia Airport’s ambitious Terminal B renovation has been completed in New York and features Tailor-Made LIGMAN VANCOUVER columns throughout the retail spaces. The VANCOUVER columns were manufactured to meet the design criteria required by Goldstick Lighting Design. The design brief featured decorative light columns with custom laser cut panels throughout the area. During design discussions, the extent of LIGMAN’s Tailor-Made capabilities became apparent and the design progressed to incorporate customized framework and multiple LADOR 3 floodlights with different beam and visor requirements on top of the columns providing accent lighting for merchandise A custom central opal core was provided, surrounded on two opposite sides with various laser cut decorative panels, designed with geometric Art Deco patterns that mirror those on famous New York landmarks. Added to this, customized anchor bases were developed to accommodate the unique floor requirements and power supply.

PARLIAMENT HOUSE WORKPLACE
LIGMAN was delighted to showcase this stunning project for Adelaide’s Parliament House achieved through our valued exclusive Australian partners, Efficient Lighting Systems (ELS) and H.I. Lighting in South Australia. Arguably one of South Australia’s most iconic landmark buildings, Parliament house is a heritage listed building situated in the heart of the Adelaide Central Business District. Swanbury Penglase Architects and System Solutions Engineers were given the task of enhancing this historic building to highlight the facade whilst being sympathetic to the many original features of this important and well-known building. This has been achieved using LIGMAN QUANTUM 2 RGBW Floodlight fittings with DMX control to change the color and ambience as required. With a subtle use of color, the building façade can change to mirror the theme of the riverside area close by, as well as being available to highlight special occasions such as Australia Day or other significant celebrations/events. At night this building now comes alive and this once hidden gem is now a spectacular part of the Adelaide skyline that will wow for years to come.

Formed from two solid aluminium castings for stability & strength, it can be provided in single-colour or two-tone RAL combinations. Directional White LED optic, with base illumination in matching CCT or RGBW. LM6 aluminium pre-treated for higher corrosion resistance. 316 fasteners, glass diffuser. IP66, up to IK10 & rated for 330lB load. The design of the fixture references the letter »i« in the LIGMAN logo, so in profile it has a delicately canted stance with a cut which houses a directional asymmetric downlight and additional concealed 360-degree glowing base to make the fixture appear to float on the ground.
