Designing efficiently and effectively with MicroVOSTM Technology
A recent study highlights the benefits of LIGMAN’s MicroVOSTM Technology system.
MACARON 2 (MC-20011) standard post top luminaires were selected for the design of a car parking area. Two 81 watt MACARON luminaires per pole were needed to achieve the desired lighting levels for this area both with T4 type distributions.
Whilst this was an acceptable and compliant scheme, there was a need to reduce fixture costs and energy consumption
Using MicroVOSTM Technology, LIGMAN’s technical team were able to combine two T4 optics back to back in a single 102 watt MACARON 2 luminaire (MC-20012), achieving the same lighting levels with the same pole heights and pole spacings. Consequently the fixture costs and energy consumption have been lowered considerably.
