INTRODUCTION
MUCH MORE THAN A LOGO Every great brand has a unique brand identity which is consistently and thoughtfully applied across every customer touch point. It should remind people of the brand they are experiencing, enhance the experience and act as a way of recognising and finding the brand. Brand identity is much more than a logo – it’s the colours, the imagery, the typefaces, layouts and the personality with which these are applied. These brand guidelines are designed to ensure that we are consistent both visually and in our tone of voice.

CLEAR SPACE The Much TV logo and Much TV mark should always be surrounded by a minimum area of space. A margin of clear space equivalent to the height of the ‘M’ is drawn around the logo to create the invisible boundary of the area of isolation. The mark has a clearspace equal to half the width. These areas of separation are a minimum and should be increased wherever possible.

MINIMUM SIZE There are no predetermined sizes for the Foursquare logo. Scale and proportion should be determined by the available space, aesthetics, function and visibility. There is no preset maximum size for the Foursquare logo. Minimum sizes are as shown here.

COLOR
Try wherever possible to use the logo against a plain background. Should you need to run it over an image ensure there is sufficient contrast to maintain legibility.
Full-colour (spot) Use in spot colour applications against white or light backgrounds. (Also available in RGB versions.)
Full-colour (CMYK) Use in four-colour process applications against white or light backgrounds.
BLACK & WHITE
Black and white Use in black-and-white applications against white or light backgrounds.
Reverse Use in black-and-white applications against medium to dark backgrounds or image.

THINGS TO AVOID
LOGO USAGE
COLOR
We want our logos to look their best and beconsistent whenever they’re used. Here are a few things to avoid.
SKew Do not skew the logos or change the proportions—scale them proportionally.
Logo colour Do not change the colour of any of the elements.
Hue and tone Do not use the logo on colours that will hide or clash with the colour in the logo.
Busy areas of texture or image Do not use the logo over busy backgrounds.
Rotate Do not rotate the logo
DON’T add drop shadows, bevels or other effects

CORPORATE COLORS Four distinct colour variations of our logo areavailable allowing for flexibility with different types of backgrounds and media. Each variationis available in the two language variations onthe previous page, and you’ll have a choiceof CMYK, spot colour files wherever appropriate. No other colour variations can be used.

SOCIAL ICONS The logomark social icon should be used without a holding shape if possible. Leave a minimum of 8px between icons. If you use a holding shape do not center the logomark, always align it left. Icons should always be atleast 22px in height.
