MOM: the ultra-robust flexible coupling The MOM coupling is designed with a rugged metal spacer so it is especially suitable for the heaviest applications.

The new MOM Oldham-type flexible coupling from Lika Electronic is distinguished by its spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS-400) metal spacer connecting the hubs. It yields an increased impact and fatigue resistance compared to resin spacers and allows for the highest torque (up to 352 Nm) and torsional rigidity (up to 46000 Nm/rad) while providing optimal ductility properties at the same time.

Furthermore it excellently compensates for large lateral (up to 1.4 mm / 0.055”) and angular misalignments (up to 2° instead of 1° 1.5° in comparable models). So it is ideally suited for integration into general-purpose motors and rotating shafts with low speed and high torque characteristics in severe industrial applications. The spacer is self-lubricating for virtually maintenance-free enduring service.

MOM flexible coupling is offered in a very wide selection of bore diameters ranging between 3 mm (0.12”) and 42 mm (1.65”), with setscrew type, clamping type, key type and clamping + key type hubs. In addition it can be ordered with different bore diameters at hubs.
