Other products sold at Alpine Heritage Structures includes gazebos, outdoor furniture, and lawn decorations, all of which are made by local furniture craftsman with only a small markup in price. For interiors, Luke sells wood burn artwork with rustic barnwood frames, crafted by a woodworker friend in Montana, and rustic log furniture, also made locally. Luke explained that a lot of craftsmen enjoy making nice furniture but don’t necessarily enjoy the marketing of their creations. That’s where Luke takes over.

SANDPOINT HIGH SCHOOL. BY PATTY HUTCHENS. LILY DEARAGON KNOWS what it takes to succeed. It is more than hard work and determination. It also requires a focused mind. “Don’t go into something blindly. Have a plan, think about the situation and create multiple sources of action and take in as many variables as possible,” said the Sandpoint High School senior. “Always assess.” That philosophy has taken the young athlete far in life. “I started playing soccer when I was four and wrestling when I was five. I have done okay over the years in my sports winning a number of state and national titles in wrestling as well as becoming an All American,” said Lily. “My love now is track.” Lily has placed at state in the 4x1 relay and the 200 and 400 meter run. But she has not stopped at track and wrestling. She has also ventured out and tried new sports such as cross-country and basketball.

With school and athletics, it is a wonder that Lily has much free time. After graduation Lily plans to move to California to attend either the College of the Redwoods or Monterey Peninsula College, then transfer to Humboldt State to pursue her Bachelor of Science in marine science.
